Sorry if I missed this in the review if you mentioned it. You said both units are powered, so I’m assuming they both have separate TMCC addresses? Do they both have sound, or just the lead unit?
both are powered with sound, to save space on the TMCC system I'll have A and B units on the same address but for AA sets I'll have separate addresses and lash them up
I swap the LEDs in my 3rd rail models with incandescent bulbs. This helps me add engine room lights with 1.5v bulbs like the ones on key diesels. Nothing beats incandescent in terms of appearance in my opinion.
@@KsModels cool! I only purchased 1 dome sleeper to mix in with my PRR fleet (1950’s south wind ran a NP dome through to Florida) what modifications are you doing to the diaphragms?
@@DjsOgaugeTrains on the non-dome cars GGD put a strip of black tape that falls off easily and looks bad, currently replacing them with either styrene or brass strip. The dome cars were done right though interestingly.
Very nice layout and map. I like Central
Nice layout Great trains!
Great review Greg, those Santa Fe E6's are beautiful looking.
Those are some beautiful models. 3rd rail really does do a wonderful job with their locomotives. Enjoyed your review! Bill B.
You make them look good! I’ve never been happy with the sculpt on the early Es from Sunset. Nice review
Nice video Greg! Great Models!

Im a 2 rail guy and those would be SPECTACULAR to have on my layout.
There is another run of them available to reserve now, 2 rail is an option
Really like the models and the layout! Nice!

The small incandescent bulbs are great for engine interiors. I like that idea, I may use that on future engines, thanks.
Great review! Love the SF E6’s. You have the north coast limited set? If so please review it!
Thanks, we did receive ours, currently working on the diaphragms. Once that's done I will do a review.

@@KsModels weird. Sounds like a bit of a tedious project. You order the 1938 Super Chief?
@@DjsOgaugeTrains yes we did
the Milwaukee Road E7 maroon and black pin stripe is off. but in general 3rd Rail is a much better product than lionels
I think those models are worth more that the actual unit
