my opinion on Pakistan cricket and international sports:
1- It is a distraction for physically strong youth of muslim nations so that their attention is strictly towards low scope issues like score, wickets, Goals, medals, trophies and athletic performance at team level and indvidual level. The idea behind all this seems like, let's not give future generation of muslim youth a little bit of mental space to ponder upon necessary issues of life.
2- even intelligent and responsible people like you "Jehad Zafar" are discussing this topic of cricket performance, when the topic on the intellect tongue should be Palestine.
I understand the viewership angle as this is the top trending topic, but there are many other important topics to discuss for you such as youth-awareness to support palestine through the positive use of social media and also spread awareness about practical steps to tackle the war situations by showing public support on national level for the muslims of war torn nations all around the world,
sadly our people are unaware and uneducated about real topic because even the (working-brain) intelligent youth is also focused on low value topics like these and neglecting discussions about above mentioned important topics,
Again i feel sad to say that the athletic and physically active genertion is careless about the direction and obligations of being a muslim and pakistani.
