Meee tooo. Love the less gittery... lol. You sound wonderful. Back in the 80s, I was macrobiotic (vegan with a twist) and got into the prune habit. Loved them, but since I am whole food/plant based, I forgot about them.. not having the 'c' problem. I love them and you've reminded me to continue enjoying them as a healthy part of my food plan. I made the red lentil curry for dinner tonight. It was very good but I have one edit, it really needs some acidity. I ended up adding the juice of two small lemons to the curry. After I added that, it was perfect.👌🏻
One rice cake is never enough for me, I always need two and then I feel guilty about it, it made me feel reassured to hear you did the same! I know that’s silly but oh well
this comment makes me so sad :( the idea of feeling guilty for literally eating TWO RICE CAKES is so depressing and really illustrates how far diet culture has gone. i hope one day it is no longer normal to have a toxic relationship with eating, and that we all make peace with food. please don't waste your life trying to conform to society's unrealistic expectations and feeling guilty for giving your body energy !! life is too short
Caitlin! I was looking at your recipes on frommybowl and came across your key lime pie and was super excited that it was nut-free until I saw you used coconut milk :/ From a food allergy perspective, coconuts, cashews, and almonds are considered nuts even though they aren't nuts botanically.

I don't always drink lemon water, so I like to slice up a couple of lemons and put them in the freezer- this way the lemons last longer and chill my water a bit. Win, win, win. 😂

I have loved your videos for a few years now, but recently even more so! When in your last video you talked about the fuck it diet, I realised why: nowadays it is less about the "health" but more about "taste". Not that your recipes arent healthy anymore, but they appear to be more creative, your focus seems to ne more on the joy of cooking plant based food and also, there's always delicious Dessert. xD do you take any supplements, though, like b12?
I drink the water throughout the morning and try to finish it before I eat lunch! I prefer to drink more liquid in the morning vs. the end of the day because otherwise I have to get up in the middle of the night to pee haha
I also struggle to drink water with the seasons changing! I just accept and allow myself to drink extra tea :) don't force yourself to hydrate if it's hard! Your body might just not want it. Body knows best. :)

I cooked them with dried basil, garlic veggie broth (a bouillon paste), and mushroom seasoning from trader joes!

Almond milk wouldn't really work in curry, it's pretty dependent on the richness of coconut milk.
