The fact that the Pit Bull is usually less than 60 lbs and still made this list over other way bigger breeds really says something about how deadly they can be. =O Edit: I'm sorry. My comment sounded bad. I didn't mean they are a dangerous breed or anything like that. I meant their bite being potentially deadly. Maybe I should have said formidable or something. Hope that cleared things up. =D
@@pitsnpistols1005 a pitbull is supposed to be agressive towards other animals especially dogs. The purpose of the breed is dog fights but they can be used in various things. That's just how it is. A real pit comes from game tested lines and is supposed to be dog agressive. If not it's a worthless dog that doesn't represent the breed.
The best BANdog is a Neo female bred to a Game Pitbull male. Have you ever heard of Dr Swinneford? He was trying to create a stronger bigger Pitbull so used that mix in his breeding program. He had a game bandog called Bantu that he fought against other dogs. Bantu did great til he was matched against a 60 pound game pit and quit. Bantu weighed 120 in pit weight
@@theperfectfighter9193 they may look like it, but there is very little evidence. They need to do more videos of Man work, hog catching or combat situations to actually see what they are capable of. For example just by looks you would assume that some extremely muscular and heavy boned dog's like the American bully would be fighting machines, but the truth is they are not very skilled. A slim 50lbs game APBT would tear them apart. Head size has nothing to do with it. It's just looks, not reality

I'm curious to know why the South African Boerboel which is a 160+ pound dog developed & used to protect farmers & farm animals in South Africa from wild animals like hyenas, lions, jackals, etc.
Dude hyenas travel in packs and would destroy a Boerboel lmfao at 160 pounds they look like they cant even breath after taking a few steps. They have Lions there Leopards there who is ur shit dog protecting humans from???????? Who??????
@@badtrekee4348 First off the working Boerboel travels in packs most of the time in 10 to 15 so with that said that amount of working Boerboel’s can definitely take down a hyena, baboon etc. As far as looking like they can even breath when they walk , maybe you’re confusing a Boerboel with a Bulldog because that is far from the truth here. Although a Boerboel is not a dog to run long distances what they do have is very fast agility with incredible strength often not seen by the average person who have only been exposed to a Cane Corso, Rottweiler etc etc . These dogs are in another tier of strength size and agility which usually don’t go hand in hand and very few have experienced, I’m speaking from experience here and a Boerboel owner btw.
You know what I respect about this channel the most? They present the truth of the breed. Not the AFC standard but the truth. Pits are not big dogs! They are slim and muscular, like a navy seal lol. Ready to do duty without extra weight, muscle and fat alike. This channel represents them correctly and I appreciate that. I know other breeds get lumped up but I see it happen with pits the most. I’ve got a video coming up like this so check it out if you wanna know the back story and xyz of each breed I talk about. Great vid Zeek!
We have many of these Breed's. One thing is when it comes to combat, it's not how hard the bite is, it's where it's placed. Many people talk about bite force and PSI but none of that matters if the bite is on loose skin. Dogs with high fight IQ will bite vulnerable ares on the underside like the chest, abdomen, inner thigh, upper arm, legs and genitals ; that makes all the difference
@@the_legend_1091 They use them because they listen and wont cause much damage when they bite someone. A rott has twice the biting force of a Shephard. Just because you own one dont make its bite deadly. A Pitbull which is smaller kills them both. I had a friend who did stleave work for protection. He also told me a Dobermann pincher will commonly quit once its been over powered or hurt.
I have heard it said that the Turkish Kangal has the highest bite force recorded and do not blame anyone for putting this breed on the top of their list. I personally have wondered where it was recorded. We get to see a number of breeds have had their bites recorded even here on RUclips, but I have never seen the Turkish Kangal's recorded. Not to say there are no records, but it would be nice to know that information when it is often stated as fact.
The bite force statistics are not scientific because you never really know if the dog that is biting is exerting its maximum force. One dog could be biting it's hardest while another dog might not be biting it's hardest. As for the kangal, nobody knows where this bite force test was conducted.
There have been some studies done based on a Kangals facial skeleton in comparison to a wolf. I did read a paper on it a couple years ago. Their conclusion was the Kangal was comparable to a female wolf. I wish I could remember who did the study, but I’m sure if you did some googling it could be found. It was a very interesting read.
I love Pits but there are so many others that I believe are more worthy of a list like this. English Mastiff, Dogue to Bordeaux and the Akita specifically have significantly more powerful bites and are very large.
Yep - pit bite force is typically around 240 pounds, same as a german shepherd. Obviously more than enough to deliver a fatal bite, but a number of breeds have much higher bite force - rottweilers, american akitas, most livestock guardian breeds.
@@badtrekee4348 The average pit bull is no match for an American Akita. A really hard, experienced, game bred fighting pit would give an Akita a hard time, but do you really think they're all that tough? And a Kangal? Forget it. Not to mention that a Tosa will outright kill a pit bull 99 times out of 100.
@@SlottiexBob You said nice to see the wolf killer is on the list no??? Wolf killer means it kills wolves. Alot of dogs can kill a wolf in a one on one fight. The problem is wolves travel in packs or one wolf will get the dog to chase it into a trap where the rest of the pack is waiting. So what have you learned??? That a dog can in fact kill a single wolf??? Wild dont mean its tougher then domesticated. Wild means it can survive in the wild. Schools out beat it

You're right Zeke, often when people get bit it's their own fault. Was walking my dogs with some neighbors the other day, and we got to a fenced in dog. That dog wanted us gone, however SOMEBODY had to stop and say "oooh cho such a cute leetle doggie" Good thing there was a fence. I hope she listened to my advice for the future.

Not many dogs have bigger heads or more powerful than the Boerboel! My little South African mastiff has a 31 inch neck and a 42 inch chest he only stands 26 inches at the withers and is 15 month old
The Boerboel should definitely be on this list ! They are muscle bound monsters, very intimidating and tenacious. They remind me of shorter, more muscular Tosa's.
I agree they are very impressive and intimidating but what is lacking is actual evidence of their capabilities. I have not seen them in action. No hog catching or combat video's. It would definitely be a sight to see

I really like the way you compiled this list without bias towards a breed just the facts. I've always been impressed by the Kangal in sheer size and power just an amazing animal, as well as all the breeds shown.
Dude they got a great video on Kangals here on utube look it up. You see the Owner Of the Kangal holding the dogs head after the wolves ate most of it.
When people see my three Rottweilers they also ask me… Do they bite? I always tell them… Just ensure that you don’t put yourself in a position where you have to find out. When you have a pack they will do things that a single dog might not do on their own. Additional, my oldest female is an alpha female that has zero tolerance for anyone or anything that enters her property.
Good video, thanks! It’s interesting, I’ve spent time with and handled a lot of large breed dogs (of those on this list only two though), but the dog that had the most fierceness as in “never ever letting go of what he’d gotten hold of” was a German Hunting Terrier. He was exactly the type you describe many of the dogs in this video as being, except that because of his size he wouldn’t have a “deadly bite” to a human or larger animal. Thanks again for the vid!
CoonHounds and jagdterriers are very different from each other. Jagdterriers have unbelievable drive, and they'll go after animals that they have no chance of stopping. They are a 25lb dog that will go after a 150lb hog. CoonHounds typically know when they don't stand a chance. They will chase hogs bears and mountain lions, but they won't try to bite them like a jagdterrier. I like jagdterriers and CoonHounds. I think that the Treeing Walker Hound is the most versatile and effective CoonHound, but my favorite is the Redbone CoonHound.

I also don't put a lot of stock in "bite force" numbers. It is very indiscriminate and there are different reports from different sources. We don't know if any given dog is giving his hardest bite while another dog may have given its hardest bite ever. Yes, they use multiple bites to try and make it fair but it seems hard to believe that one dog has a 700+ psi bite while a dog with a large mouth and wider structure has a bite that's hundreds of pounds less. It just seems like it is not an exact enough science to put full faith in it. It seems as though the internet has been the driving force behind bite force numbers more than anything else. I've seen some videos with testing but the devices aren't extremely scientific most times, Great video as always, stay safe.
@@badtrekee4348 Spot on. Until there is a guaranteed way to test fairly, these numbers don't mean much. The bottom line is that most people wouldn't want to be bitten by any decent sized dog anyway. At the end of the day you're still in a world of hurt.

I would’ve liked to see the Caucasian Ovcharka make the list over the APBT (because I am a CO owner and I’m bias) but APBT’s have so much tenacity and while their bite isn’t nowhere near as strong they zero let up and have more heart than any other dog
@@badtrekee4348 Well in a organized dog fight scenario I could see where the APBT would win due to their innate dog aggression. CO’s are docile dogs, but in a guarding scenario a full grown CO will snap an APBT in half. It’s a reason CO’s are used to fend off apex predators and APBT’s are not. I question the validity of your statement because I can’t see a fully matured CO being bested by an APBT but as the saying goes “every dog has its day”
@@IrvinBeast Ok lmfaoo Co are docole??? They seem like timebombs to me. Second what Apex predators do they fend off??? A Bear would kill a CO with one swipe of its paw. You are looking at size which if size mattered the Pitbull would be huge but it dont. Fighting dogs are used for a reason under normal conditions they can kill anything called a dog. I know my CO wouldn’t do well in any dog fighting sport, but the CO’s that are extremely dog aggressive will give any dog a run for their money but to my knowledge there aren’t many, CO’s have high defense drive but if they aren’t protecting anything they don’t really want to fight from what I’ve seen in my experience but in dog fighting the most aggressive animal typically wins.

I'm still shocked you won't mention the XL Bully on some of these lists... even my standard is freakishly strong and he loves to bite. Like the American Pitbull Terrier they hold and Shake but they also put their whole body into it using their weight to try and pull to the ground and get on top of the object, person, or other animal. In my opinion the XL Bully should definitely take the American Pitbull Terrier spot on the list, they might have a a little less Drive similar to the Corso but they are just so much more powerful than the Pitbull. Cmon man even a pocket like Lucky Luciano still has a crazy bite at nine years old.
I agree with your assessment overall. Those recorded bite for measures are highly flawed because there's too many variables, how much mouth is used ex.(full bite vs just the front of mouth),how determined, the drive of the dog ect. As a good rule of thumb, the larger the head the stronger the bite. One of the reason rotties ain't used in police really are lawsuits. They're jaws are so strong they were known to break bones from what I've read in the past
I am pretty into the dogo world and the kangal world having both dogs. I've also had a gamebred pitbull. In the world of bite force it really goes terrier > mastiff > LGDs. Doesn't mean that's the ranking order for fighting dogs, but head size has direct proportionality to bite force and LGDs are often larger than even mastiffs.
If you're interested in very large and very powerful but loyal dogs, look up Kangals or Boz Shepherds. Boz are a bit bigger and more aggressive. High prey drive is not desireable in a livestock guarding dog (LGD) since they would likely chase threats, leaving the flock alone. So they're not great at chasing a ball or hunting an animal. That's why you don't use a pitbull, presa canario, or dogo argentino for guarding sheep/goats etc; they'll leave the flock unguarded. LGDs jobs are to alert, alert, alert and make predators think twice. In the event they're desperate and they still encroach, these dogs will engage. Recommend wolf collars. If you want a more aggressive or prey-driven breed, you want (in order of aggressiveness) caucasian shepherds (guard territories rather than animals, EXTREMELY territorial and aggressive, horrible for families, especially suspicious of strangers), the presa canario who is so raw they'll fight anything, the bully kutta and tosa inu are the 2 best fighting dogs but they don't do anything useful besides kicking other animals asses...and lastly the Dogo Argentino. In my opinion the best "strong" dog ever. Actual MMA fighters. 100+ lbs. Kill pumas 1 v 1. Great with kids. Glued to families. Perfect protection dog. There are more trainable dogs that are also smarter...German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois...but a Dogo would ruin those dogs day. For the same reason we have weight classes in the UFC. The Dogo is not a Heavy Weight puncher. More of a Light Heavyweight wrestler with a perfected ground and pound technique. In other words, there are stronger dogs, but none who can balance the strength, size, protectiveness, speed, agility, explosiveness, intelligence, trainability, and tacticality. Thr Dogo is the ULTIMATE breed.
Indeed. The ancient LGD breeds are all _way_ up there on the bite force list. I've seen a geriatric 90# Great Pyrenees female crack open a large pig femur shockingly fast. But the LGDs may have a less "deadly" bite, because their style is radically different from the catch and pit dogs. LGDs have been selected through skirmishes in open fields with multiple friendlies and often multiple hostiles. They also have different goals - the catch dog is trying to hold onto prey, while the LGD goal is to convince the predators to leave. Committing to a bite makes an LGD vulnerable and leaves their livestock vulnerable.
@@adammconnolly There is only one example of a Dogo killing a puma and it was a small sub adult - it did some serious damage to the dogo as well. An equal size puma destroys a dogo one on one. Let us be realistic. Great dog none the less. I disagree with your assessment of dogo being the ultimate breed by a long shot. Sound a little biased. Dogo's suck in the winter. Useless for anyone living in the midwest to central USA and in Canada where there are cold winters. I would take a West German GSD over a dogo any day. They are significantly smarter and more trainable. They can adapt to many different environments. The one difference is that the dogo has an easier coat to maintain vs the GSD. In you LGD assessment, I would have included the Great Pyrenees, Maremma and the Akbash over a Boz. More stable and reliable. Grandparents had a Maremma and a GSD working on their farms at different times. Absolutely brilliant dogs without question especially the GSD.
@@c.san.8751 You're right in that there are more trainable dogs, better dogs in various climates such as cold ones, however I disagree that a Puma of equal size always kills a Dogo. It's not just about stats on paper like size, power, number of claws etc. A real hunting dogo will DIE before it quits. When it's not an easy meal, Pumas RUN. If you ever had any reservations about the breed, just pause and remember for a second that Antinio Nores Martinez managed to get pitbull-like prey drive into a MASTIFF. Yes, a MASTIFF sized dog with actual prey drive and a never quit attitude. And there are many times more than one single instance of Dogo killing a puma of equal size. If you search the topic using the languages of countries with terrible animal rights laws you can step out of theory and find many more instances of this than you ever will searching Google or RUclips in English. Morocho wasn't the only Dogo to triumph over a puma of equal size. I agree that Pumas can grow to 180lbs in which case you will need at least 2 or more Dogos. But a puma of equal size, face to face, not only isn't favored but is actually at a disadvantage against a Dogo. Pumas are ambush predators. As such, they wait until prey isn't looking to attack because if they get injured they can no longer hunt. And so they are actually quite fragile and quick to retreat when a fight could mean an injury. When they find themselves in a real fight, and there is nowhere to run, no tree to climb up, you find they are not built for high risk, face to face confrontations with other predatory animals. Dogos don't care if your back is turned or if you're face to face, they win or they die. Period. They don't always, but have on more than one occasion picked apart Kangals, Boz, Tosas, Presas, Bullies, Kuttas, Puma, Wild Boar, etc. They have also lost against many of the aforementioned breeds and species, but aside from the Tosa and the Bully Kutta, they win more than they lose because those 2 breeds are bred strictly for fighting. Viewer discretion is advised on the below evidence. Please don't watch if you have a weak stomach. It is sickening and I do not condone these owners behavior, but it is incontrovertible evidence; dismissing all theory. I am curious on the german boxer dogs, they do not figure in these list very often. Despite being large game hunting breed. Is it because they are smaller in size or they really have less power than theese breeds figuring on the list? Thanks great contain 😀
Similar to CCs or Rotties, or Presas for that matter, I'd have had there also Boerbels and Filas as these were also bred with similar protection/guarding/catch versatile purposes and similar honed traits in mind - one had Africas wildlife to cope with, the other South American (and humans as well), the former due to Rottie and Bullmastif/Bulldog blood traits shares the jaw predicaments of those breeds, the latter has the tenacity/size/speed and more cut-through but also nibble-oriented (as in for farm animals "guiding") type of bite. Same possibly goes for the Indian mastif/bulldog breeds. I'd also consider including wolfdogs, some of these share the wolf's ancestral bite traits, some lack the bark ability for the same reason, and those variants often have the bite/jaws used more often. Still, if I recall correctly there were analyses of incidents from ERs etc. and as per those data, dachsund and smaller terriers were ahead of those mighty jaws breeds in the amount of destruction they incurred, ahead of GSDs or Dobermans or all the breeds from your list ;) Sure it's not a lot of damage per bite/attack, but they have the numbers and humans' lower level of self-preservation when facing these toy/tiny rascals ;)
Any dog breed that decent from the molasses can have a deadly bite. They are large, powerful and courteous. They were used for guarding and protection. They were also used for dog fights and as gladiators. In the modern world these dogs are not very dangerous provided they have a good owner that treats them right. However if somebody wants to bring out the beast in them it is still there.
@@badtrekee4348 The dogs I am talking about was used for fighting. They fought agains each other to the death but they also fought bears, wolfs and bulls. They were also used as war dogs in battle. To name a couple breeds of this kind you have the Turkish Kangal and the South African Boerboel. You also have the Rhodesian ridgeback. Before fighting with animals were banned in France you had the Dogue de Bordeaux called Caporal 1 (The Invincible). He took out two mountain dogs in 5 minutes. An other DDB called Invincible Cesar fought in 1834 on July 6, July 13, July 27, august 24,September 7,September 14,September 21, September 28, and October 5. What temperament. Though the pit bull is a ferocious fighter there are other breeds that are just as fearsome and could take down the pit bull both in speed, force and fighter mentality. By the way the pit bull also descend from the molasses. However dogfights are banned in most of the civilized world and responsible dog owners do not want to have an over aggressive dog in their house. If they do there is probably something wrong with that owner.

The Turkish Boz Shepherd is related to the Kangal but is larger in head size and body mass. Because it has not been recognized by the AKC (Which seems to be the determining factor in validity of dog breeds 😒) it doesn't get a vote, but it's fighting style against wolves, bears, and such would make it have a stronger biting force than all of the breeds here. Although a Boerboel is not a dog to run long distances what they do have is very fast agility with incredible strength often not seen by the average person who have only been exposed to a Cane Corso, Rottweiler etc etc . We have many of these Breed's. One thing is when it comes to combat, it's not how hard the bite is, it's where it's placed. Many people talk about bite force and PSI but none of that matters if the bite is on loose skin.
I think the Turkish Kangal has a bite force of high 800 psi
The bite force statistics are not scientific because you never really know if the dog that is biting is exerting its maximum force. One dog could be biting it's hardest while another dog might not be biting it's hardest. As for the kangal, nobody knows where this bite force test was conducted.
There have been some studies done based on a Kangals facial skeleton in comparison to a wolf. I did read a paper on it a couple years ago. Their conclusion was the Kangal was comparable to a female wolf. I wish I could remember who did the study, but I’m sure if you did some googling it could be found. It was a very interesting read.

I also don't put a lot of stock in "bite force" numbers. It is very indiscriminate and there are different reports from different sources. I would’ve liked to see the Caucasian Ovcharka make the list over the APBT (because I am a CO owner and I’m bias) but APBT’s have so much tenacity and while their bite isn’t nowhere near as strong they zero let up and have more heart than any other dog
The American APBT would destroy a Caucasian. A few Russians found out the hard way on a Russian dog fighting site.
Third go watch it on a Russian dog fighting site where the CO did everything in its power to kill the smaller Pitbull only to get tired and tried running out of the pit. You are looking at size which if size mattered the Pitbull would be huge but it dont. Fighting dogs are used for a reason under normal conditions they can kill anything called a dog. A tosa A American bulldog A Presa A bully Kutta all kill a CO in a dog fight.
@@badtrekee4348 wolves and bears in their native lands as I saying they can go toe to toe with a grizzly? No not at all but with black bears they can hold their own especially since black bears are really timid and they do go toe to toe with wolves in their native land GRANTED the wolves in Europe pale in comparison to the ones we have in America, and I can only speak from my experience my CO is very docile when I take him out and about for walks and things of that nature I’ve put a ton of time into him so maybe the way I raised him is why he’s like that but when we are at home he turns into a different animal he is EXTREMELY territorial and doesn’t like any other animals coming or being near our home especially other males, I Live in a rural area and I’ve seen him snap plenty cayotes in half which is why now I don’t let him roam around by himself anymore. These dogs are very serious mine stands about 35 in. At the shoulders and weighs around 175-180 lbs (he’s gotten a little hefty I typically keep him 155-160 lbs but I slacked on his exercise this winter). I gave the APBT the edge CO’s aren’t meant for dog fighting they typically don’t have that tenacity or extreme dog aggression that APBT’s have since a major part of APBT’s genetic makeup is to fight other dogs.
@@IrvinBeast The dog that can last longer without getting hurt or tired wins. Thats why Pits are medium sized. The bigger the dog the less capable
Yes, you do
South Africa mastiff
Def my boy not a dog to mess with
Exactly ..i just wonder why he is not in list
Seeing my AMBulldog put a smile on my face. Wish the African Boerboel was on the list.
I would like to see the same video but with breeds ranked by bite force.
I'm really surprise that bully kutta wasn't mentioned. But glad my central Asian was mentioned ( Alabai)
Kangals are a great breed! I have a Golden colored Sivas Kangal.
Why is the boerbole not part of this list 😟
The fact is the Central Asian Shepard,Kangal and Cavcasian shepard have many times bigger K9 than the pit bull...have teeth and fangs on average three to four times bigger and longer than a pit bull!Pit bull have very small teeth.Plus Central Asian Shepard,Kangal,Cavcasian,Cane Corso,Dogo Argentino,Dogo Canario,Barboel...have the power of a bite that breaks bones and skulls!!!Plus Central Asian Shepard,Kangal and Cavcasian shepard have far thicker fur than a pit bull, which with its small fangs-teeth and rather weak bite and because all of that in most cases cannot penetrate and therefore cannot seriously injure a stronger individual of superior, larger and stronger breeds of dogs.!That is fact 100%!
I just can’t believe your list Zeke!
You forgot the chocolate lab. The lover and fighter.
I love all of these #dogs
What about the Akita?
Love this list, however many are banned in my country (Australia). Wish I could keep a dogo.
A bullmastiff does not have a bite force of 700
Why is the Bandog not in here? The Bandog is second to the Kangal when it comes to bite force?
Undershot jaw doesn't equate to better grip though. Even Dr Breber says the undershot in the Corsos should be discouraged.

For Dogos against other dogs type "Dogo Argentino fight noodlemagazine" into Google. There are a bunch of porn ads and things like that but such is expected when viewing such videos so I won't provide a specific link to that.
Before I introduce my dog to another I ask the owner if he's friendly not if he bites.
I am curious on the german boxer dogs, they do not figure in these list very often. Despite being large game hunting breed. Is it because they are smaller in size or they really have less power than theese breeds figuring on the list? Thanks great contain 😀
Boxer is not a hunting dog, their predecessors may have been but the modern boxer is definitely not
Similar to CCs or Rotties, or Presas for that matter, I'd have had there also Boerbels and Filas as these were also bred with similar protection/guarding/catch versatile purposes and similar honed traits in mind - one had Africas wildlife to cope with, the other South American (and humans as well), the former due to Rottie and Bullmastif/Bulldog blood traits shares the jaw predicaments of those breeds, the latter has the tenacity/size/speed and more cut-through but also nibble-oriented (as in for farm animals "guiding") type of bite.
I figured you would have the German shepherd
agreed
Dogo and Kangal are top of my list.
All the large dogs have been beaten by Pitbulls wtf are you talking about? Lmfao You are looking at size not fighting ability
@@badtrekee4348 The dogs I am talking about was used for fighting. They fought agains each other to the death but they also fought bears, wolfs and bulls. They were also used as war dogs in battle. Some of these breeds are today used as herding guards and they go after wolves, leopards and even lions.
I thought the Cane Corso had the highest bite force…? 🤔
Nahhh kangal has the highest the psi of any dog which 743 psi my boy.
@@truemvp3020 Cane Corso (700) / Kangal (743) = ~94% so a ~6% difference. Not that much that someone will feel/know the difference - bones will have long been crushed in both cases anyway.
@@755hp that’s true but I’m surprised that he didn’t put GSD up in here. Especially because my German Shepard weighs like 120 he just turned a year in February 😂🤦🏾♂️
Where is the Boerboel??
The Turkish Boz Shepherd is related to the Kangal but is larger in head size and body mass. Because it has not been recognized by the AKC (Which seems to be the determining factor in validity of dog breeds 😒) it doesn't get a vote, but it's fighting style against wolves, bears, and such would make it have a stronger biting force than all of the breeds here. I own two of them. I can attest to the Central Asian Shepherd and the Presa Canario as I own both dog breeds also, and I would hate to be the recipient of their aggression.
Don't forget about the aksaray maliklisi aka malakli, bigger and stronger than kangal and boz. Any breed form turkish provinces all are the strongest and bulkin breeds as well from Macedonia are extremely powerful. Another breed that doesn't get enough recognition is the romanian bucovina
@@crod67435 oh, I didn't forget about that breed. They are all related, all powerful, all big. All of them are formidable opponents....I think a lot of these dog breeds don't get enough recognition, but perhaps that's a good thing since America is an impulsive country and buys whatever without thought. Lol
@@ruru9400 I'm from and live in the US and I agree. No disrespect, Christopher. I just see it a lot. America is big on size, muscle, and bite force...so much so that they forget everything else.
With the other breeds you have mentioned, yeah I agree. I'm glad that a lot of these breeds are not well known. I have a Boerboel, and now that it is has been recognized by the AKC, I'm finding more being put in shelters and/or euthanized because of temperament issues. 🤦🏽♀️ Sigh...it's a shame how humankind exploits things and creatures for the sake of pleasure.

Most of these dogs are not catch animals. But hearding animals. A beagle is a catch animal bread to catch rabbits. These dogs are not fighting breeds humans have made them so. Plott hounds have been bread to be black bear dogs but are just a houd dog In nature. Every single breed here in an unconditional loving family will be big babies
It's actually very difficult to choose ten, but Zeke did his best. The Boerboel, dog de Bordeaux, Serbian defence dog and Caucasian Shepherd and many others can do significant damage, but I've also seen massive dogs with big bites and small hearts, thus no forward stance. Purpose of heart will direct the bite for protection in serious situations.
I cannot believe the English Mastiff did not make the list or the Akita.

I would have changed up your last twoI would have added an Alaskan Malamute and a black lab.
Neither are aggressive dogs ; a saint Bernard has a 500 psi bite but wasn't breed for using it's bite to attack ; newfoundland hound too it's more about dogs that were bred for attacking things labs aren't bred for it like these dogs heck I seen a blind ladies lab kill a thugs game pit in one bite cause them dogs take care
Malamute can fight off poler bears, one of the largest land predators, labs can are a compact version of a Newfoundland, smaller an will fight back
