He literally has 56 different files in his phone..
When simon chose no 25 he opened file no 25 which has jetski in 25th position..
Ex. File no 1 has jetski in no 1 position,
File no 15 has jetski in no 15 position...
And you can literally see he was holding 2 cards together and flipped them and gave the blank card to simon..

Nah that one was pretty easy to figure out. They took a beginner card trick and made a big presentation of it.
I guess that's how the trick was done (I may be wrong)
- Simon says the number of the list before they show it to him, here they probably had 56 lists made previously associated to the number he said and so they could show him only one that has in the number 25 the jet sky. In 1:16 the magician makes 3 movements in his cell phone before arriving at the list, probably in the first one he chooses "2" and in the other one "5", this way a unique list is opened that is already associated to the 25 that was chosen. It was his cell phone and this is very easy to program.
- In 1:50 the choice of the card is made and it is clear that the one chosen is not directly the one shown, it would have been different if Simon took it .Then say which one it is not even checking really which one it was, here obviously the card was forced to be shown.
- In the presentation, previous to the whole magic act, the magician talks a lot about his son so probably this was a condition for Simon to choose him as the name of an important person, this is the complicated part of the trick. Since he tells you himself, this is your son's name, right?
- In 2:12, it is simple how he hides the card and actually passes another one to him, this trick is very well known, so he never directly passed the card to him.
- In 2:45, the son makes the perfect distraction so that the magician can fold the card.
- I assume that in 2:59 when he passes the wallet or passes behind his father, that is when the son takes the card and hides it in his hands. In 3:18 you can tell that he already had it in his hands when he "took it out", so at least this part of the trick is very clean.
- The rest is already explained, they forced the 5 of hearts to coincide with Simon and Eric and the image is already explained.
Anyway they did a good trick and hid it very well but it is far from the best.

They didn't have a devastating backstory or was an overexaggerated ridiculous humor act. Just a decent magic act is not enough for that on this show sadly but.. you can see why.

@@jessie3815 show is comprised of it all over. Contestants are even told by producers to try and make up one to some extent for the ratings. Not saying all are fake but most of the golden buzzers involve a sad underlying story. It doesnt take a genius to figure that out. That is what's pathetic. You can do your research yourself and see responses of people who actually went on.
If you can understand, how the trick was done while watching it for the first time - it's not a very good trick.

Here's the Explanation to the trick.
First Simon is told to choose a number. As he chooses 25, the guy selects the folder if which 25 will be jetskii. There are other folders to choose if Simon chooses other number.
So that's how they get jetskii
Next, he was told to choose a card. If you watch closely, the 5 of hearts is at the bottom of the deck. And Simon chooses a card somewhere in the middle. So with a slight of hand, the guy removes the bottom card as Simons card showing 5 of hearts.
Next
He flips the card and with slight of hand changes it and puts a black card in his hand. And when the guys kid is shown, the magician folds Simons card and keeps on it his hand. When the kid comes with the wallets down and passes by the guy, he gets the card without our knowledge. And when the kid reaches to the wallet to get the card out, it's already in his hand.
So this was all well planned. They made Simon choose 5 of hearts and choose jetskii
And the fact that Simon chose his son, well that's obvious. The most loved person will be his kid only and they made sure he picked Eric was by telling him stories of the 56 list of presents the guys kid made. So Simon was basically thinking about kids.
So it's Eric, 5 of hearts, and jetskii.
There you have it. The magic trick, or more like the illusion trick.
Close but no, you can see he doesn't take the card from the bottom in fact if he did the slight of hand for the blank card would be magical but slight of hand IS slight of hand. Now if you look closely the bottom card is either a 7 or 8 of hearts since the second two hearts is in the center of the card so it can't be the 5 of heats. What he did do was a force card in which the 2 cards he wanted where slightly messed with so In a new deck it would be easier to find and hold his pinky on them so when he's closing the deck his pinky is already elevating the cards so that he pulls the two needed, this is why he takes the card out oddly to make sure you can't notices he's holding 2 cards so when he flips both back over the second card (blank card) is now on top.

This was a really cool act, one of the things that really impressed me, was how they used mind-influencing. James starts out by talking about his son and it serves as a central theme in the act. By doing this, they start to play with Simon's subconsciousness. Even though they did this really well and clearly know their stuff, there's a huge risk factor involved, in case Simon wrote down a different name. Kudos to them for doing a bit of gambling, it certainly paid off.

@@deepdeepimabeep7651 The "App" that he opened from the phone was the one that brings up 25: Jetski. If he had picked 10, the magician would have opened a different "App" where 10 was jetski. So basically he had 56 icons on his phone. with JetSki in different places on the list. So it was a force.

The were expecting a golden buzzer and I personally think they deserved it because so much emotion was into this routine.
As someone who understands card magic (and, sometimes learns more skills with it) and as someone who understands tech, I know how they pulled it off.... But it was executed so flawlessly that I forgot all about that and enjoyed the performance. Well done!

How?
Using software enabled phone, based on the number Simon chose, he unlocks the phone and the list gives Jet ski at 25 (his chosen no). Rest is slight of hand to give Simon the blank card to hold and props etc.
My only thing is how did they know Simon would write down Eric? Surely he's not the only important person in Simon's life, Simon could have written the name of his partner as well... To me, that was such a massive gamble and the whole trick would have flopped if they guessed wrong.

Of course there is a logical explanation behind every trick, but it depends on how you present it and they did a wonderful job

@@thommyturtle209 Exactly. Freely available trick playing cards, a little thought manipulation, and some pretty obvious guesswork. (Obviously Simon would choose son Eric as his special person!) Trouble is majority of people don't have the brain power to think things through with any logic.

I got goosebumps and at the same time got tears of joy when his sons came out ‘til the end of the magic.
I watch a whole lot of magic and this magic trick, by far, is one of the greatest magic tricks I have ever seen from a magic standpoint. On top of that, it made me weepy-eyed too!
