I have this gun. Really wonderfull piece of small iron. For EDC I use two 9mm Lugers - Walther PPQ M2 or CZ P10C, but this CZ83 7,65 Browning makes shooting really really really great fun 👍 Excellent grip and handling, almost no recoil... My 10 years old son loves it more than "his" Walther P22Q. Btw. (almost same) model 82 in this caliber was duty pistol of czechoslovakian police (Verejna Bezpecnost) during communism...

На западе такого типа пистолеты называются Вальтероподобными, так как,предшественник у них по общей компоновке-вальтер ПП. Этот чз-83 самостоятельная чешская разработка для момента перехода армии чсср с чз-52 на калибр Макарова. Очень сложный внутри. Когда приносишь такой пистолет на ремонт,ответ у оружейника стандартный-" да ну его НАХУЙ, я иду в отпуск. Сам имею это в трёх калибрах- 7,65 бр.,9*17, 9*18 мак. Самая первая версия была-чз-82 в кал.мак.с полигональным каналом ствола. Имею и такой. А для коммерческого рынка назвали чз-83. Ещё потом вкладыш 22 лр.сделали с легким затвором,мягкой возвр.пружиной и маг.для 22 лр. Потом вообще переделали фундаментально и сделали Джейн-83. Посмотри в сети.

That means their springs are worn and they suffer from metal fatigue, i.e. they are unreliable. 3rd Most are curios & relics. That means their tech. is old, new tech. is much better. Three (3) general examples: - Old tech. had steel paperweights / new tech. uses lighter polymer frames. - Old tech. had fixed sights (some tiny) that were harder to hit with / new tech. has easy to change clear illuminated night sights. - Old tech. had complicated designs that needed a pro gunsmith/ new tech. has simple designs that the owner of the gun can work on. There fore *leave old technology where it is - in the past for serious self-defense.* New & modern technological development Has some ultra reliable, lightweight, soft shooters, and easy to see sights that will make it easier to hit what you are aiming at. But mine is one of the newer versions just before it got discontinued it has fixed dot sights and since in my country you can't get parts anyways, gunsmiths are forced to machined them it really doesn't matter if it is a discontinued product or one still in production.
Good luck finding one. They are no longer in production and very few were imported into the USA. The .380s aren't hard to find, but the 7.65 (.32acp) are rare. Very rarely one will turn up on Gunbroker. I am the lucky owner of one...:).
