Wow my father had a Morris Minor in the 80s. Waiting to see the body restoration
Love that story from your mum.
Very cool vehicle!
VeryInteristingVideos,ThanksForSharingThem
Nostalgic Old is gold
Look like an A series mini engine....they came painted green from the factory....that one was probably a red seal re conned engine back in the day
Yes it is a replacement engine. Installed in 1984.
Good simple little engine that but they had trouble with gear boxes noisy in 1st gear
Yes but for some reason I love that first gear whine.
Not only noisy but the 1st/reverse was weak. On our family Moggie 100 we had to swap 2-3 using gearboxes from a scrapyard. Eventually replaced the gearbox with a Gold Seal unit we found at the scrap yard.
Oil in the carburetor dash pot will help.
Nothing stops an A-series. Couldn’t hear the fuel pump running though.
No but next time I visit we’ll clean the fuel pump contacts and see if it will work. The goal is to drive it.
4:22 LOL

Morris Minor, although I believe the engine was an Austin design

It's a regular Morris Minor.
PROBALY MISSED IT ,BUT WHATS THE OLD GIRLS NAME ,, (THE MOGGY
