      The only one I have and it's 3 years old. Waiting for it to flower again so I can harvest the seeds. Last year's pollinations did not work.

    Lovely plants Liz.
    Iput my succulents sometimes in one pot (usually i run out of avail pot). Butvi forgot that i need to pot the same plants who requires same type of watering schedule.
    I am giving up with some succulents like cante, lotus and agavoides. They dont like my climate, but small cante and lotus survive! I wonder if inshould be more patient hahhaha.

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  2 года назад

      Depends on the plant. I too have given up on the Cante because of the frost but they grow wild in warm places. Lotus, I find can handle any weather just about (except snow) but will go pale during summer or if it's too hot. Some agavoides will thrive on dry hot weather with a good soaking twice a year (during the cooler months) in a really fast draining soil.

    There were two very beautiful pink echeverias near the fabiola. We dnt usually get the names of the echeverias so it gets pretty confusing. The cluster sepration vdo and the lead propogation vdo were v informative. Waiting for the rains to cease. So can start separating the bigger babies!

      We only see the sun once a week. 😅🤣 Rain for the rest of the week and Sunday Sun will shine but Monday it's back and forecast rain for the next week.😔

    Ms LizK-- I am in deep mourning over a truly significant loved one. I want to commentate this amazing person's life with a special, rare Succulent plant. This person was strong and wise and dependable with an impenetrable spirit; a Soldier. Please help me to find the most appropriate type, as I am still new to the world of succulents and trust your suggestion. I want to gift one to each of his surviving family and have one for myself. Thank you in advance...

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  2 года назад

      There are so many different succulents with different growing requirements that suggesting a plant to you would require knowing the environment where you live or where these plants will grow or kept.
      I'm so sorry for you lost and my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

    Would you make a video on how to save an over watered plant? I recently purchased plants, soaked their roots in water for two days, but they Bataan to grow mold. I quickly rinsed and laid out to dry. Thank you

      If mold develops after a couple of days, it could be that the mold spores is in the plant or container. I would suggest drying the plant and spraying some denatured alcohol with 1 cup denatured alcohol to 1/4 cup water. Spray and plant in soil. Hopefully this helps.

    would love a video with some tips and info about growing healthy strong roots, lately Ive noticed the roots of some of my succulents dying, not sure why. :(

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  2 года назад +1

      Depends on the succulents. Some grow aerial roots that can be propagated or a sign of underwatering. Dying roots can also be an indication that they need repotting.

    That's why you should name them "Agavoides NOID" - meaning, it has "no identification". That way, "made up names" don't become a "false name". That's my 2 cents! :)

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  2 года назад

      I had a few NOIDs and it has been a problem because I can't keep tract of its growing progress.
