I’m sorry my friend this is the wrong way. This took you almost 10 minutes to do. IF YOU ONLY NEED TO REPLACE THE BULBS, YOU CAN SIMPLY POP OUT THE LIGHT COVER AND REPLACE THE BULB AND THEN PLACE THE LIGHT COVER BACK IN, CLIPPING IT IN… You can get this done in under 2 mins.
I used this video just to see how you took it out. I need to adjust the contacts on the toggle switch to the OFF/DOOR/ON switch because it doesn't stay off for door. I need to keep it in the off position. I saw something online that said to just adjust the metal contacts one way or the other to make it work. Thank you for the video so I didn't rip the headliner or scratch up the dome light guessing where the tabs are. My baby will stay pretty now....
Guys, you can simply pop the light covers off, no need to remove the entire dome. This guy led you down a wrong path. He didn’t mean to , but he did. I have a 2011 and i replaced mine in under 2 mins.

I'm having the same issue. Did that fix your problem? I was thinking I might need to replace the entire assembly.
Wrong. Just pop it from the lens itself using a pry tool.

Did not work for me (2011), clips didn't appear to exist in the same spot. Maybe it's a different model because of the sun roof button
