  • Very Rusty Lock Restoration - Restoration Video Better Then @RexTorer?
    Restoration Video Overview
I found this rusty antique lock under the soil
when i took it out it was full of mud and it seemed like many years is underground but i restored it and made it shine like glass
I guess it 150 years old can you tell me how old can it be?

This lock reminded me of something I saw on TV. This couple bought an old Victorian and opened every door in the house, they were all locked. They didn't open the door in the basement they needed help. The door was a heavy iron door with a heavy iron lock. The only thing that was in that room were baby clothes and a stroller.

I have no idea or intention to find out how old this lock is. This lock may have been used and manufactured sometime during the 1880s or the early 1900s. It was all about during Harry Houdini's time.🔐

It feels a bit stretched out using methods of cleaning that waste time like using the small wire brush and then the rotary wire brush, why not just start with the rotary? And adding extra clips of movement to extend it just makes it feel cheapened with something that isn't needed. All-in-all I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5.
