If this is going to be as good as the first game, they're going to really have to polish up the animations. So far it feels empty and lifeless, and I soon sounds myself booting up the first endzone and it's so much better. I agree with you on the expeditions, and I feel they wanted to expand and improve it, but in the end I feel it'll be my least favorite part of the game. The multiple settlement aspect seems too much like Anno, but I'll give it a chance, especially if you can automate trade routes.
I agree though will caveat that I don't think they're in the polish phase yet. I would expect it to look and feel a lot better when they release (agree on animations) and some of the graphical elements! I'm hoping to see further refinements to expedition portion - in the first it didn't feel quite as exciting but think it operated better than what they have in 2 so far! Thanks for the comment!
