There is little more beautiful or satisfying than seeing a harvest laid out before you. The fresh rain will encourage more growth for more harvesting. 😊 What a productive day! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it all. Thank you for sharing with us. 💜

I love, love, love my kale smoothies! When I pick my kale I put it in a sink full of cold water and add salt and swish the kale around. The salt causes the worms to die and sink to the bottom of the sink. I pull the kale and wash out the sink, then rinse it again in a clean sink full of fresh water.

Oh....the joy and satisfaction on your face as you showed the compilation of your harvest at the end of the video!!! Thank you for sharing your blessings, which in turn becomes a blessing for all who view you. Proves to be an inspiration for me. Our bulk harvests have yet to start, though harvesting of some veggies, herbs and flower heads have begun. I have yet to grow celery, but after seeing yours, I will give it a try in 2024. Merlot lettuce was a newbie for me this year, as a pack of seed was gifted to me from ordering through Baker's Creek. It has earned a spot in my gardens going forth. I look forward to future videos showing how you preserve the harvests. Thank you Kelsey. Blessings to you and yours,

Everything else either soaks in cold water in the sink(like celery or kale) and some just have to sit on the counter until I can get to them(carrots, beets, garlic) I did throw some stuff right into the freeze dryer too! Same could be done with a dehydrator.
