John is really nice. Even with me heavily disagreeing with his stance on some USA politics, I understand he’s a person and isn’t just a member of my favorite band.
He’s replied to a couple messages on Instagram. He took time out of his day to acknowledge me as a person and a fan of his. That meant the world to me.

7:32 I had the pleasure of meeting John one time at a restaurant and he was, to this day, the not only of the coolest, greatest musicians/celebrities I have ever met but overall one of the COOLEST human being period. Down to earth, AWESOME dude. One of the best experiences I've had till this day.

Great interview Sona. John made it to the top, and he is more realistic about success. Therefore, your approach sounds more theoretical, as you are looking for a recipe, while John is saying everyone’s success path is unique per se. So, there is no a priori set of canned approach to success. Your enthusiasm and smarts on the other hand, always propel you to ask great interview questions.

Yes and no, first impressions can be important but I'd say your environment and audience can make a difference. People are worth effort, just not worth trusting majority of the time. To add to that similarily, I'd say hate is generally not going to help anything either. Grey area is nice, a good portion of people do not recognize Grey areas.

Before all of the Serj disciples start bashing Daron, just remember it's always been Serj.
    Shavo
    May 2013:
ok..... Ill come clean.. Its not us(meaning Daron,John Or Shavo!! Its Sej, who doesn' want to do a new album!!!! so please stop harassing us about it!!! We are just waiting for SERJ! Now He might hate me for exposing the truth but i Had too.. Sorry folks!!! we're trying to get a new album out, its just not passing Serj's RULES! . Kinda funny, since we started the band and now he's holding us back!! I think we should should release another album again??? As for me.. I'm ready to release one with someone who wants to be the singer of SYSTEM. not soeome we have to beg to be a part of SYSTEM!! So with that in mind, what do you guys w should do? Just remember, Hes been holding us back for 7 years so far.. wanna wait another $-5 years? or shall we release a record without Serj? u tell us?????
I dont want to make a record without him... but if he's not down? should the 3 of us just sit and wait?? Not cool!!!!!!!! i want the fans from all over the world including Brazil to tell us what they think.
No System? or System with with a new singer whos just as good if not better? PLUS new System songs and tours???? please give me ur opinion people!!! is SYSTEM better with no singer or someone who is excited to be our new singer?? you decide.. cause im confused!!!
no diss to Serj.. If he wants to be in the band then he's welcome but if he's not? what do you expect us 3 to do.?? we really want anorther System Record! wish Serj was down but if hes not, then im going ahead and making a System record without him!!! im furious that he let us down like this, but we gotta do something to keep this great band alive!!! agreed????????

Not really a surprise, tbh. Serj is someone who preaches one thing then does another. He seems like a nice guy and probably means well, but I wouldn't trust an activist who keeps his tweets on lock down to silence criticism to be completely genuine.

He nailed it on the head. No one side of politics only ever gets it right and the other only ever gets it wrong. It’s completely naive and ignorant to think in such ways. I’ve come to the same realisation over time and I’m glad to hear him stand firm on that ground. Wokeness is unfettered insanity, put it in the bin.

I'd say leave reproduction to the individual, but I understand what he's saying. Regardless, spot on about not just Armenian war getting snubbed because of what's happening in Ukraine, but also war in Libya, Syria, Yemen. The list goes on. They only tell you what they want you to hear.

  • @paulwisham5943
    @paulwisham5943 2 года назад +1

Here’s an idea for fans , you guys , and Armenian assistance…
SOAD puts on world 🌎 tour. 60% of all proceeds goes to the band. 15% covers all costs… And 25% goes to Armenia and it’s causes.
( If by chance a live album comes of it, after, with a few new tunes… All the better.)
And none(well a lot ) of it doesn’t have to be about any individual in your band. Just all of you in support of your homeland, and giving a gift to your fans…
    Stream of thought…
    Alll the best ! #SOAD
