@Adam Magloire Schools should finally realize that rather than teaching us irrelevant theoretical background and some awful, for non-mathematicians, notations, they should make things easy so that more people would actually enjoy math. The moving average is interesting, but it is much more useful for revealing the trend of the data, as in the real world we often need to predict more than one period
