    This was so helpful! I struggled the whole day reading through my class textbook, power point slides and even reached out to other students for help, but no one was able to help me. You made this so easy to understand, and now I feel so much more confident in being able to attack these problems on my own. Thank you!

      @Adam Magloire Schools should finally realize that rather than teaching us irrelevant theoretical background and some awful, for non-mathematicians, notations, they should make things easy so that more people would actually enjoy math. Lots of things are not that difficult as they seem. Btw thank you for the video, Joshua

    Hi Joshua - first of all, love your videos. You really explain them very clearly and I learn more on these than in actual class. Anyway, just a question on MSE. Is MSE the same as Mean Square Root process in forecasting errors? I've seen an example of Mean Square Root and it seems similar up to the point where you have to divide the total squared amount by the number of periods but then you have to get the square root of the averaged amount. So in your example on MSE, you would square root the 13.5 to get 3.67. Is this correct? Are MSE and Mean Square Root actually different?

    • @joshemman
      @joshemman  4 года назад

      You're right; just take the square root of MSE and you get the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error)
