Your family, friends, and neighbours won't ever go hungry! Those cookies look like my ideal cookies! I'm very picky about certain desserts. I have been in search for perfect Butter Tarts. There used a vendor at a farmers market that use to sell these amazing butter tarts, then the recipe changed or something and I haven't found another place as good since and it's been decades! Recently I bought some and they were very close. I can tell, usually just by the looks because it has to have that caramelized thing happening and kinda looks messy. Filling good but not too sweet or too runny, just right. Very rare to see that. Oh and the crust of course has to be good as well. I'm asking a lot for the perfect Butter tart and I'm not sure if I'm explaining correctly but wonder if your wife would be up to that challenge of making the perfect butter tart? Well MY perfect Butter tart.
