Jim aka Fletch The Letch is a schizophrenic wanker, who wants to be a “gentleman” to Caroline who he sees as “different” to the other inmates, and as a “lady”, who “shouldn’t be in prison”, but she doesn’t want him harassing her because she isn’t currently interested, so he starts with the bullshit prison officer routine, condescending her and lecturing her.
He needs to pick a side and bloody well stick to it.
He’s doing what Joan Ferguson did with Hannah Simpson.
What a coincidence Caroline and Hannah have the same surname, despite it being Caroline’s husband, Michael’s surname. 😆

Yes, the problem is you get the feeling she can't cope with having total freedom. It actually makes her feel uneasy not to have people telling her what to do. That's why she's bound to end up back inside.
Interesting what the writers have done with Pat, turning her from someone obsessed with all her kids to someone obsessed with one of her kids and all of a sudden to someone who never mentions her kids. Especially the psychopathic dead one. Her role now seems to be as Bea's fixer-upper. She also seems slightly hyper all the time - as if she's on something. Not something strong, just enough to make her seem like her mind's racing ahead of her body. She also seems to have developed a stoop. I wonder if the writers/producers were experimenting with her, changing her character subtly to see if we viewers would notice.

I nearly died when Vivian didn't get the implication about Judy and Sharon. SHe actually thought their relationship was comparable to hers and Caroline's??!?!?! LMAO!
The ONLY time Vivian was endearing w/her innocence. Judy's giggling was even funnier.
Some people live sheltered lives, its not her fault. I thought it was quite sweet even though the character wasnawdul.
Judy should made a pass at Mrs. Williams at least there closer in age. Vivian might wake up and react one way or another. I prefer he and Jude become an item.

I would assume that in most prisons the women are given soft soled shoes to wear. In Wentworth apparently they can wear their own shoes. Whoever heard of wearing high heels in prison!! A stacked heel can be a pretty deadly weapon in the right hands!

Bea is a good top dog because she has no issue with killing, if she could justify it to herself. The inmates are likely afraid of Bea. Myra and Rita didn't have it in them to kill. Bea's unpredictable behavior is what frightens them. Killer Bea

@sean5990 Well, Betty Bobbitt (Judy Bryant) was born in New York, then her family moved to Philadelphia, then when she was an adult, she emigrated to Australia in the 1960’s, so maybe the Australian accent has had some kind of influence on her American accent. 😃

Holly McGinley I've stopped reading the comments now because of spoilers. It's a shame because the comments are just as entertaining as the episodes sometimes. I used to watch the show in the '80s but I was so young then that I've forgotten most of the details.
Holly McGinley I disagree- regardless of when a show was made, if someone wants to watch it it's better to not give spoilers so they can enjoy it for themselves. It's possible to make comments that don't give future episodes away/ or the ending of a film. :)

@PaulsPhoenix Yeah, I've noticed quite a few mistakes to the end credits. However, the mistake to the copyright caption is not down to the person doing the end credits but the DVD studio. When they edited out the original Channel 10 ident (to replace it with a more modern ident - much to the annoyance of many viewers), they sliced in the 1979 copyright caption from the first season (if you watch closely, you will see that the backgrounds go darker before the copyright caption is shown). Originally, this episode would have been broadcast with the correct 1980 copyright caption.

After all these years I realized what I missed. watching PC BH now and looking up some of the women who made the show . I just saw a picture, after Googling Fiona ,with her and Elspeth sharing a glass of champagne .my only comment is: boy were these two very attractive women .And they're my age . Again boy what I missed.
