I mean they pay 13 lpa base which is good but startups pay more and they offer equity too.
that's why they quit the amazon job to join start-up or yt. where you can earn more.

@@Piyush-me9nu Not every startup but good startups pay 15-20 LPA(base) for fresher. and some companies offer ESOP and equity too. If the company does well you will earn more money.
Big companies offer stocks which are also great.

It's not that difficult for her actually, she's earning from RUclips as well and the startup which she will be joining will pay her too...it would have been a tough decision if she wasn't earning from RUclips
In the IT industry for the last 17 years from Tier1 college, I can vouch that nothing matters more than your inner call. Take risk early on. I do not bother about branding myself as well, it is learning that matters. So go on, good luck.

Anshika you are doing the right thing.. because no software IT jobs are secure until you don't upgrade your self.. hope in start up you can upgrade your self you will have better knowledge after 2 years. where normal team lead of Amazon does not have that that much knowledge..you can gain that much knowledge by Start up.. very much good decision anshika..

You are spot on. I worked with start ups in product and technical program management for around 7 years, and joined Amazon in 2021. In these 7 years have got tremendous opportunities to work on developing new products from scratch. After joining Amazon I realized that they have relatively slow pace, which is obvious considering their vast scale of business, distributed teams, and it's worth having this experience at this scale. Working in startups helped me to put my learning and add value to this scale of Amazon. Amazon is giant, hence obviously slow but you contribute at huge scale. Overall start ups give you faster and dynamic learning because they strive to hold their grounds; launch fast, fail fast and apply learning to revamp the products you build. All this can be experienced in a short span.
Realizing we are at the age where we can leverage our Risk Appetite + Energy + Time to explore more and be more skilled. All the best 👍
Best of luck for your future endeavour. I accidentally landed to your video but listening to your content i want to comment out one thing. Whatever and which ever startup you join, whatever technology you pick. Over all there is something called domain. So learn and stick to the domain. Try to find the problem statement of a domain and then bring technology to solve it. And domain is not learnt on shorter cycle of work. Rest is always individual choice to work around it. Best if luck.

Good luck Anushka. But for the followers let me tell you Anushka has the privilege to try out options because she has RUclips which will still earn her money to make a living. But most of us try to make a living through our jobs and don’t have neither saved money nor side earnings. So everyone do not take this personally without backup. And this is the truth in today’s world that u need some backup.

Same strategy :- collect audience with help of company name , make clickbait thumbnail (mostly including company name) , start earning with increased views on RUclips, when things become financially stable , Leave that company

I feel it can be more justified if she had dreams of changing her career stream like pilot, cook, scientist, astronaut,etc. All she needs is startup responsibility of developing products from scratch which she already did in Amazon as SDE1.

Yes you took right decision i have 8 years of experience. But not startup if you move amazon as junior consultant you move to accenture ,delolite you will get senior consultant more tenchnical responsible there too you can learnt something around 60 per and startup 100% knowledge. I'm cloud solution architect in aws and azure i got recommendation due to aws qord

Anshika Gupta - You will realize your risky life after 1 year. As per your experience you have very limited expertise in this industry, Start-up can't fulfill your requirements as there people are not that much experienced and talented. Specifically managements are just a joke. They cant give you the value, only money minded unexperienced people there. 90% start-up in India having same people. People join startup for 2 reason,
1. Either they are not able to adopted the IT MNC culture.
2. Some people just washed or played in minds with fake promises.
