What I'd always find really helpful on these type of videos is an approximate number of hours the total job took and (just to illustrate - not binding!) the rough cost to the customer of the parts and maybe the total cost. It will make little sense to some of us used to Mercedes-Benz London hourly rates of US$280 (yup, not a typo) plus tax @20% on the whole bill, but is a good starting point
Some do not have the resources to fix these being as old as they are getting! We love the ABC suspension and have it on several of our really fast shop cars. We didn't sell this suspension or make the choice, but we will install it and show how to for those in need.
@@ModernMastersAuto I agree with this comment and I’m not against coilovers as a concept. On some cars the ABC is just totaled. It’s just the video title giving me the ick. Your shop makes cool stuff and you seem to have good internet cred. So when your video title implies the only fix for ABC is coils you might steer people to actually “LOOK NO FURTHER”. I bought my CL with broken ABC, 120$ for a refurbed plunger sensor plus my time and running strong for 3 years now.
Great video Rusty! Personally I enjoy fixing my ABC suspension every few months but this option seems pretty neat too.
That was hilarious! And the repairs make for good content! Job security at its best haha
😂
Ive been looking at cl65's and all i can think of is your ABC issues, now seeing this my first thought was hey here's a solution
@aarondavis8433 There are other solutions, but for this client, this was his.
😂 keep going Alex
Rusty is an inspiration to those of us on the spectrum
Fantastic video, glad no Rusty’s were injured in making the video😂
Haha right!

You definitely did great even by yourself!
Thank you!
Love the content.

Great video Rusty! Brightness and color quality is looking better.

Buonasera il kit è idoneo anche per la SL 500? Grazie buona serata
🔥🔥
Did you guys do anything with the tandem pump? I might have missed it.
Swapped it to an e500 pump
Hello sir, How are you? Will that kit work for 2008 CL63 amg
I believe they have a kit
nice

this is definitely a shot at alex
Nooo lol this is a client vehicle with his supplied parts.
Why not remove everything since your converting to coil overs ? The car will drop about 200lbs of weight.
The customer didn't want to do that.
THIRD COMMENT I WIN!
I like to replace the pump with a regular ps pump. Because the pump will leak at some point. ABC! Garbage 🤣
People like different things but “look no further than coilovers” attitude to fixing ABC issues is kinda low when such statement comes from a shop

It's a good alternative to a vehicle where all of it needs replaced. If the budget affords it, I would typically replace it all.
