Just the kind of video I was looking for. I’ve been following you and doing my own research in how to close my intex pool. Thanks for this video and keep up the awesome content!
So annoyed I didn’t get to put my pool up this summer due to backyard being a complete mess and wanting the new deck built. New deck finally built but still need it extended to a pool deck. Midwest it’s getting cold
So besides cleaning debris out before shocking, do you balance your ph & alkalinity as well, or just shock and add the pills? Ive used pool store closing kits and it was do this, do that, etc.
I look at the balance of the pool, a little different than most people. Me personally if my water is crystal clear and smells chlorinated I don’t even check the balance. it was off you know the water. If your water looks crystal clear the pool is clean then yes I would just put the pills in and cover it. But your clarity is not really your best off to check the balance first and then do the rest. 👍🏼
