It's interesting to watch this over a year on from the start of the pandemic, the level of anxiety we felt, streets we cycled along that looked like there was no one still alive and kicking and only a few out with their dogs and families. I quiet enjoyed the quietness of the roads on the first lockdown, despite getting hit by a car! It is amazing how many more cycle tracks we have gained in recent years and the amount of greenery there is.
Great video. I've been binge watching your videos. I'm enjoying them very much. I live in Kent. So no canals around here, but I live on the North Kent coast so plenty of cycle paths on the promenades. Can be pretty windy though.
As a recent subscriber to your channel, I have to say how much I'm enjoying your adventures. My health prevents me from doing as much cycling as I did in the past but I do manage to get out occasionally. Your snot issues struck a chord with me being a long time sufferer of the affliction, thank goodness for cycling mitts with integral nose wipe, hallelujah. This point of view style of video can fool the brain into thinking you're actually on the ride, well done looking forward to more of the same.
Hi absolutley love the channel , found it by chance looking for inspo on the grand union canal ride, great to see my home turf as i grew up on court lane but now live over telford way .. its a sub from me :)
These are EXACTLY the kind of cycling videos I like. Particularly as you deliberately use the NCN routes. My pace precisely;(52 year old electrician here).
Thanks that’s a very informative video, we live close to Witton lakes so walk and cycle around there and to brookvale and also the other way up to Sutton park also through new hall valley so nice to see the whole loop and connect the bits together !
