I agree with you 100%! Although several of these houses offer dupes as less expensive alternatives to really pricey fragrances, some have taken it too far and dupe everything! I've seen a couple of the dupes of dupes, and I find it hilarious and mark them as a company I will not do business with. The better fragrance houses offer their own unique scents, but they know that dupes are big sellers, nothing wrong with that.
Ooo, my Juicy Melange is on the way! It really irritates me to see that they offered the scent as a Pre-Order as if to suggest that it would be released all at once when it's not, but oh well, I'm still excited about it!😂😂😂

I guess I do like the idea of buying a Middle Eastern perfume inspired by a great perfume but somehow done with a twist and longer lasting, perhaps beast mode , rather than a straight out dupe.😊 And I am not interested in celebrity fragrance.
So far I have never liked one, plus I like to smell or try to smell a touch differently. 😅

Some dupes do not make sense when the OG is within the affordable under 40/50 dollars price. Unless it is a blind buy and no information as to what it is inspired by then I might get it before knowing it’s inspired by a cheapie other than that, no 😂

The dupes of dupe fragrances also do not appeal to me, no matter how much they market it to me e.g Khamrah/French Coffee 😢. Why should I go for the other when the quality of Khamrah is way up there?
You are also right about celebrity fragrances😂. I mean why?
Even middle eastern fragrances that are overpriced, I would rather save to buy the original.
I will say that some of those Al Haramain, Rasasi, Ajmal, and the higher end dupes are worth getting over the originals. In fact, they sometimes have better performance and are just as better blended.
But i will say that i generally am not impressed with Fragrance World and Al Wataniah regarding performance.

I totally agree with you. I got caught up with the Bianco Latte scent dupes, purchasing several different brands. I could have easily got the OG and been just as happy~
