From a navy vet to you, sir, I salute you. My wife and I were told that we would not be able to have children. God had plans and after 13 years we had our son. He is now in his early 30s, and if he needed me, I would literally go through hell to be there for him. 🙏
I had something like that happen at my church about ten years ago. This one couple at our church has a son who's in the military. About ten years ago, right around Veteran's Day, the son came home for a visit, but didn't tell his parents. The young man and his family came to church and sat behind his parents. During the pastor's sermon, when the couple turned around, they saw their son and grandson, and there was an emotional reunion. The reunion must have been emotional for the pastor as well, because he was not able to finish his sermon.
