I have the RTIC Tan 45 and it is a wonderful cooler. I am a prior Yeti owner, but would never buy another one. RTIC is every bit as good and at half the price. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great video.

They are still using the same locks/handles. At this point there are so many variations of this cooler on the market that there are cheaper options with better features to choose from.
@@luisreviews6412 You're probably right about the cheaper options. I need a mid size cooler, but doesn't necessarily have to be a high end, long ice type. Thanks for the review! I do loke the basket the RTIC comes with, and especially the divider.
I just moved down to Arlington and had what I thought was a good cooler until I packed my cooler up with drinks and ice and it didn’t make it half a day lol so now ima have to get either yeti or rtic

Robert Munguia True, wheels would help so much, these things are a pain once they are loaded to move.
Did they fix the lid not staying open issue with the 2nd Gen? That's kinda a big deal.

As of Oct. 2019; RTIC 45 $188. Yeti 45 $300. Pelican 45 $349.
Now at 5.24.20 it is going for $199
2022 just bought it for $210

Heat is real in dfw, you can to come with a solid cooler to keep up with this heat.

Can you pick the cooler up by yourself when it’s full of beer and ice?
Yes, to move it around a short distance but any more than that it would probably be too heavy for most.
