Glowworm is a valient company so probably use same components. Think the issue with these boards is the low voltage capacitors go hence the faults. There are videos out there thst show how they can be swapped our.
One more thing I forgot to mention, watching your back of van video I changed woster return manifold, it was my first major job on my first month of gas engineer job with no plumbing background, it all went well, thank you so much for simplifying things.
Nice one , I had exact same fault on a vaillant last November , kept cutting out but not blowing fuse , unplug fan and it stayed on rang the tech and was told it was pcb , had spare on van and changed all good , 20 years working on vaillants and never seen that fault before... cheers 👍
Always enjoy your video, wish you could have showed the outer part of the flue. one little request if you do vertical flue can you please make video in detail please, there are no videos on RUclips for vertical flue installation.
I remember very well, I had exactly the same problem with this valliant model 3 years ago. I already got a new fan unit before valliant technical support told me it was PCB. Until this moment, I still have fan unit sitting their in my garage
Those vaillant prints aren't the bests haha. PCB I mean. You guys in UK don't have intergas? Seems to be the best combi-boiler to me. No Three-way-valve. Two seperare circuits.
@@delboy6384 I’ve been using Rems and haven’t had an issue with it so far. I’ve also tried the novopress which some people prefer. But personally I like rems
Next time try a hairdryer on the Vaillant board. Unplug all the connections heat them all up then plug them back in. Works a treat! 👌🏽
Same with gloworms

I always put an old towel over the pcb when I work on any boiler to try and stop any drips. 👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely going to start doing that, it’s really not worth the risk
I always practice towel techniques to afford flooding pcb. My hair dryer is always handy as well
