yeah like tom loving the vid.....my question is a basic one and i'm just not yet able to fully visualize.....how is the console connecting to the i/o's to get into the software....what type of i/o is making that possible.....i'd dig to come to the shop but i'm aways aways in another part of the world....passionate demonstration on a desk that looks and sounds as if it's ''diggity dog'
Hi Steve, Sorry for delayed reply but needed to get the full run down of the i/o So, Console Tape returns are fed from a Burl B80 with BDA8 modules. We then take the Mix out in to a Cranesong Interstellar via AES into the BAES module on the Mothership. Monitoring is fed from a Cranesong Solaris which is also fed from an AES output on the Mothership. The B80 is a BMB2 hosted by an RME MADIface USB. The Burl also supports 4 additional input channels via a BAD4 plus an Eventide H9000 as an AES hardware insert. Outboard and hardware inserts all live on a Redco Patchbay. So as you can see it can handle pretty much anything you care to use!
Good work Stefan! This video is great :) !

Had to laugh at the 'this button gives it that extra few percent....' A real Nigel Tufnel moment.
