Can i use it with studio one without problems ? What do you think i search for a console like this but i want change to cubase or logic because i come from these daws to studio one.. :/
Studio One does appear to have HUI support so it's possible to get the DLC and Studio One talking. However, the DLC module hasn't been optimized for Studio One as it has for other DAWs so you may get some strange behaviour with some functions.
The DLC section doesn't support natively Digital Performer. If Digital Performer supports HUI then you may be able to set it up, but this isn't something that we have tested here at Audient.
I am trying to connect DLC to my Mac Via the connect app but it is'nt seeing the console. I am at my wits end. I have followed the instructions to the letter. I am using a cat5 cable to connect
Check that none of your other network connections, such as the wi-fi connection are using the same sub net as the DLC connection (192.168.100.xxx..... etc) as this can cause connection issues
@@Audientworld Hi thanks yes I have it sorted now. I am experiencing the strangest thing with the patchbay though. I have a pair of distressors. I have my kicks coming out of subgroup 1 into the first distressor but the 2nd distressor is getting the kick signal too. I tried this on different channels and different bits of outboard and the same thing. What's going on? the outboard is on the tie lines btw?
Hello there, There are no current plans to add Studio One support I'm afraid but I will pass your comment onto the software team to see if this is something we can look at in the future.
You would be limited to 8 channels of analog automation when using the DLC's Analog Layer. You can either use these as individual channels to automate single tracks or you can use it to automate the levels of the 8 subgroups so you can automate groups such as Drums, Vocals...etc
@@Audientworld Hi thanks. It is a little unclear how you write automation using the sub groups. I have my drums going to subgroups 1 and 2. I have the DLC picking up the signal from said sub groups. What is the next step?
You can use the Faderlink plug-in on a track on your DAW to connect a channel on the DLC to a Channel in your DAW. You'd then simply set up an automation lane for the fader level of the Faderlink plug-in so you can store the Fader level on your DAW channel. If you then set that track to Write (or latch...etc), you can either use the physical fader or the fader in the Faderlink plug-in to write in the automation.
@@Audientworld Ok thanks, I have done all you have said and the faderlink plugin does not respond. Can you automate Stereo tracks and busses in pro tools? I have my drums going to sub groups 1 and 2. There is no track in pro tools for the drum bus it is all on the console. Sorry if I am being a little slow but I can't seem to get this working at all. The faderlink plugin can be stereo but you can only choose 1 channel per instance. Do you have any more detailed articles on how to use it or can I speak to someone?
Audient...please, please, please make something with a smaller footprint (and price tag) like you did back in the day with the Control 2802!
I hate how the 2802 didn't do well.
Sadly I only got to use one when they stopped producing it.
Audient "FaderPort"
would be awesome
Please add MCU (Mackie Control) !!

Thats a little strange,. If you haven't already, could you send a message to support@audient.com so they investigate?
Hi.. Is DLC being coded for Studio One? Thanks
Hello there,

Do you guys make only DLC module?
Hello,
The DLC module is currently only available as part of the ASP8024 HE console and not as a standalone unit.

How would you automate an entire mix?

@@Audientworld So to automate the drum bus do i have to create stems first of my drum mix and then automate that?
