  • Brian Godawski is an inspiration! He and his mother are the hosts of the podcasts Resurrecting the Mind, Body, and Soul which you can find here:

After being diagnosed in 2012 at age 26, one month after getting married, he received a 3-5 year prognosis. He credits hope, a belief in his recovery, and lifestyle therapies with his incredible outcome.
His daily routine now: intermittent fast, fasted workout, and ice plunge. This is supported by plenty of vitamins and supplements; a high protein, low sugar diet; and a goal of 7-9 hours of sleep ever night.
You can hear him speak on the various modalities at these timecodes:
    3:05 - Exercise
    4:45 - IF
    5:20 - Extended Fasting
    5:25 - Cold-Water Therapy
    5:35 - Supplements
    6:00 - Diet- High Protein/ Low Sugar
    6:15 - Sleep
7:45 - be your own advocate
Brian and I bonded on our shared faith in the placebo affect and the way your mindset affects your outcome; how believing you are well makes you well.
My favorite quote from him: "Keep your hope up. Know that there is an answer out there for you that can at least help your outcome or actually change your outcome and even change your whole life in the process."
Thank you, Brian, for sharing your story of healing.

I have grade 3 astrocytoma... I had surgery end of July and its only now, in November, that I am starting chemo and radiation... thankfully my tumor was 90% removed and despite being grade 3 so far, my last MRI showed no changes or growth... before radiation I am getting another one... Your story is super helpful and positive - thank you so much Brian! Kudos, cheers, mad respect - live long and prosper!
I hope to do what you can myself!
