*QUESTION: Does anyone know the difference between a few of the officer positions that she mentioned @**2:04**?* What's the difference between Chief Officer and Staff Captain? I looked on RC's site and they do give job descriptions but I don't know if I completely understand it. The second officer and chief officer description is the exact same, I don't know if that is a website error or not.
Also, to Royal Caribbean: I would love if you guys made a video about the responsibilities of each rank and what they do throughout the day. What they do on the bridge and for their extra duties. Don't just do bridge officers but all the officers. And I'd also like to know what the Master/Captain does, on a day-to-day basis. I know they say they're over the entire ship, but what do they ACTUALLY do on a day-to-day basis? Because it seem that the Staff Captain does most of the things that we think of a captain doing.
Hi, Oliver here. I'm working on cruise ships, so perhaps I can help you? The 2nd Officer is responsible for the safety equipment on board and the Radio and Navigational equipment (for example maintaining, weekly check of radio equipment, and updating sea charts and make a voyage plan pre-departure). The 2nd Officer is often on many ships split between two people. The Safety Officer, which does the safety part (checking lifeboats, medical equipment i.e.) and the GMDSS/Navigation Officer.
The Chief Officer is responsible for a lot of things. He's responsible for the garbage on board, he's Security Officer (ISPS Duties onboard, Counterterrorism i.e.) and much more. In most cases where there's no Staff Captain onboard, he's also supervising the Deck department.
The role of the Staff Captain differs from ship to ship. But more or less he's doing the crew tasks that the Captain normally is doing. For example, making sure every crew members have valid documents for working at sea and their position on board, and whatever else's that has to do with the crew.
As mentioned above, the tasks that these people carry out differ from ship to ship, and company to company.

My friend's mother died on Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines. After she died, RC charged over $6000 to her credit card for medical attention.
What happened : This charge maxed out the credit card and exceeded the limit by over $2000. Her parents are well insured through the state of California, but RC refused to accept insurance for this medical bill. A representative told her, "We’re not in the business of leaving bills unpaid.” RC said they cannot reverse the charges because it was on a pre-authorized card. Who knew stealing from a dead woman could be so easy. Thanks for nothing to the customer service department for doing everything in their power to avoid helping to resolve this issue. #rccl #royalwow #ROYALFAIL

What is a staff captain 👩✈️ ?
A staff captain is the second in command onboard a ship. They must also be fully knowledgeable of the Captain's responsibilities, because in case of emergency, they will assume command of the ship.

Some agnets not some many agents doing fraud with crew after that crew think he choose wrong way some companies not giving opportunities only for experience why..?
