I mentioned this before, but it has been confirmed in an official FAQ that lowering dice with status effects does NOT lower max HP/MP as those calculations use the 'base dice size' not a modified one. So no extra loss from those status effects. So condemn will not make them lose any extra, so it is best to pick the dice that they are potentially using to attack with instead.
