I watched 4 videos and think this was the most helpful. Thanks for the grass seed idea. I live in an apartment with my cat who loves eating grass. I am just going to clean up and seed some abandoned land. It will improve the neighborhood for pollinators, pets and people 😊
Your garden is Fantastic. It’s amazing what can be done in a small urban space. I am on my 3rd season of gardening in my urban back yard. I never thought I could pull it off but RUclips gardeners like you have taught me so much. I just love watching my garden grow and change each day and I also make garden videos! Now I can watch your garden grow in your videos too. I hope we can learn more from each other as we grow! 🌺🌸🐝🌻🌻👨🌾🥕🐇🍅🫑🌷🪴
Thank you so much ❤️ They say that once you discover gardening, it’s a love that lasts for life!! Ohh I had a look at your latest video, your veggie garden looks amazing, love the planting squares you made 😍 Happy growing 💚
Great videos! Your storytelling and filmmaking are so much better than mine. 😂😂 Try it without adding in the turf grass seeds. The wildflowers really can’t compete with turf grass until they’re well-established. You need to be mercilessly killing any turf grass for the first few years! I understand the worry about it looking bad in the winter, but honestly if you mow the meadow in the fall it doesn’t look bad at all. Does grass stay green in the UK through winter? Over here in Indiana it just turns brown anyway.
Thank you so much for the wonderful video . I am planning to start one this year . Prepping a place for that this fall . Your video was very very helpful .
I love wildflowers I've been growing them for years. I love your meadows in your back garden 😍 can't wait to see the front meadows, I want to do this now! 🌹🌷🌼🌻🌸🏵🌼
Lovely video! I will be planting my second wildflower meadow this weekend (moved house, got to start over) Your tips are great. One could also rake off a thin layer of the soil already there and use that to cover instead of compost, as wildflowers really don't mind poor soil at all (I know you said about the tree, but this is for other people)
Question I have inherited a field with a large pond that has overgrown & needs cleaned out & restocked with some fish. My question is how do I get rid of 2 acres of weeds to plant perennial wild flowers?
So how are you going to cut the grass that’ll be competing with the wildflowers’ growth? Plus you don’t need all that other stuff. Rake, mow grass low, till, rake again , spread seeds, rake again, walk on seeds, water, that’s it. Keep watering until enough growth appears. That’s it.
Sorry but the title of this video is very misleading, what you're creating is an annual meadow, that's totally different to a wildflower meadow & nowhere near as beneficial to wildlife as a wildflower meadow is.
So cute presentation. Love your pure passion. Wonderful collection. Love wildflowers.

So looking forward to watching this enchanting meadow grow ! 🌻 🌻 🌻
That’s so kind 🥰💛
Most important is to plant natives that will flower each month of the growing seasons, spring to fall! 🤘
Wow! That’s a great idea. Thanks
Billy button seeds need light to germinate.....adding the compost after seeding might be the reason they didn't come up last year!
Your voice soothes my soul. :-)
She appears to be an adult ... purply?
I'm so excited to see how this turns out! I like medallion meadow :)
Thanks ❤️❤️❤️ Me too ☺️

A little confused about the grass seeds. Don't you want to weed the grass out of the wild flower area?
Question

Look into bringing in some goats for a few days, there are companies that will “rent” them out to you
Wild flower seeds grow after snow fall please tell me
What does it look like now?
Sadly I don’t know ! We moved garden twice since so I’m hoping there is still some colour there but it’s probably back to a patch of grass..
So how are you going to cut the grass that’ll be competing with the wildflowers’ growth? Plus you don’t need all that other stuff. Rake, mow grass low, till, rake again , spread seeds, rake again, walk on seeds, water, that’s it. Keep watering until enough growth appears. That’s it.

Please let us know how an annual meadow is different from a wildflower meadow.
Is almost every last word a high note????
Haha i do get better at sound editing 😉
She plants a wild somewhat natural meadow while wearing 2 pounds of makeup. Is it all just facade?
