You should make more rock islands, it will dissolve aggression. All of the fish and eels are in 1 big rock formation. Would be better if they can be more dispersed.

These schooling fish add so much movement to the pond. You should try to add more wrasse like species or get a parrotfish at the store to get some fast moving colorful fish

I think more individual caves or rocks piled up maybe 3-5 piles so the smaller fish have some distance from the larger ones when they are hiding

I have some ideas to come up with for the big saltwater pond. It would have fit with several stones and corals / plants. Also where you can see the mat that you have by the stones, you could have covered but more sand.

a mangrove tree right in the middle on top of those rocks would look so cool and would help out with the nitrites

You need about 3 feet of sand for the roots
i think mangroves are protected, although not 100% sure
@@jimmyalamo839 Depends on where you are. In Fl you can get the free floating non-rooted propagules but you cannot dig up plants......unless you are a multinational corp /s
That blue crab is small compared to what we have in Maryland. Blue crabs are the soul in our state

Do you use natural seawater or a commercial mix? I had a berlin style reef 150gal but was concerned about diseases and parasites that come with natural seawater.

You should call the Fish bumblebee troop
The fish at 4:02 is a Night Sergeant (Abudefduf taurus), the lighter area between its bars in the anterodorsal region is 2 scales wide instead of 3 scales wide like on a Sergeant Major (Abudefduf saxatilis). Compared to the more generalist Sergeant Majors the Night Sergeants prefer to live around hard bottoms with turbulence, like in jetties or amongst shallow wave swept rocks.
