I live in the UK and I find the dimensions of some of the trains completely mind blowing. Excellent filming, you must have a lot of patience. Well done 🤓🏍️
Woodchip cars on that first train? VERY nicely done snow scenes. We had a lot of snow in Nebraska but the temperatures went to arctic levels so it wasn't healthy to stand outside and shoot the trains.
I remember this winter. It was a really atypical one with insane blizzard conditions dumping tons of snow where there normally is none. Biggest snow ever in a lot of places.
Good day. I myself am from Russia and I also do photo and video shooting of the railway. I have such a question, how do you in the USA relate to the filming of railway rolling stock the railway workers themselves and the local police?
It just depends on where you are at, some railway workers might not care if you are filming them and some might or think your trespassing or filming a restricted area i.e near a oil refinery etc and might call the local PD or Railway PD. In Denver, CO USA a person was taking pics on a bridge overlooking a yard and got the cops called on him even though he wasn't trespassing.
Freight trains, snow, something very hypnotic and poetic about it.
Wow! Two monster stack train with 9 engines, excellent video!
