who the hell decides "OOOH, BLACK FRIDAY! LETS GET WIDGETS!" well, it seems the rhythm heaven people do! perhaps they're some of the most important things there.
Because it's Heaven Studio, you have to use the controls of Megamix, no touchscreen because it's for PC, and no one likes to use a touchscreen with a mouse
When I first watched this, I thought, "Really? Just faster inputs?" Then I continued watching and I'm glad I did because this is more than "just faster inputs".
WOW. If this was Built to Scale 3, I wouldn't have batted an eye. Genuinely feels, and not unimportantly, sounds like it could've been an official stage. Super cool!
The fact that it doesn't actually sound dissonant - all of these extra cues coming in actually naturally fit in with each other to make it sound nice - is really impressive for the sheer amount of prompts coming in (on top of so many coming in at unusual and unexpected times)! Well done, putting this together.
I tried doing this along with a pen on a desk, it felt really fun and totally managable. I screwed up maybe 10% of it. Would totally play a rhythm heaven kaizo if there were more like this
The Foreman Says: You really kept up with our increased production goals! ...And you didn't falter when the line sped up! Also, you did well even when the power went completely out! ⭐ *Superb* ⭐
Basics: Mastered! You are good at the fast ones! The ones that got ahead were no problem for you! You nailed the overlapping widgets! You did great in the dark! Superb!
Built to Scale Results: Try Again: Were the fast ones too much? You definitely should not focus on the visuals. The darkness messed you up. OK: Eh. Passable. Superb: Not even the fast ones got you off guard! You did great in the dark! You kept true to the end!
So cool! This really does feel like it matches with the original Built to Scale DS minigames in terms of its style and the way it builds and introduces the multiple widget bits slowly(ish). And it sounds good! Honestly seems like a fun (if awfully difficult) challenge to try :D
Imagine how nuts this would be with the modified scales of the Unbuilt to Scale (by Epic Gamer) video. Even just the one extra beat by having the widgets bounce would kill me.
Why does parts of this sound like the Zelda theme But really, it's nice how you made this actually sound nice as well as make it look painfully hard, kudos.
I wanna try this I managed to pick up a few of the bits (even the blackout part) during my first watch, but some parts (the ending really) I’m not all too confident on, but I’m sure I’d at least do OK.
all of a sudden this is getting more attention- for those that want to play this level, check out my channel update!! i appreciate all the love guys

I actually really like the patterns in this. It isn’t just “wacky bullshit that’s hard to follow”, it’s… musical

First one of these that feels crazy difficult but in a satisfyingly doable way.
Ngl, this is how nearly every rhythm game feels to me and it's awesome.
if it was on megamix it looks doable. now if you had to do the DS flick function um..
...Eh, you could probably still do it if you have quick hands.
RSI speedrun any%
You can flick up and down, so that solves some problem
Because it's Heaven Studio, you have to use the controls of Megamix, no touchscreen because it's for PC, and no one likes to use a touchscreen with a mouse
I feel like this would be easier on DS, I’ve played so much rhythm heaven ds compared to fever, Meganix, and tengoku
Wait what the heck this looks PLAYABLE.
That’s hecka fun! Especially with the different harmonies going on 😊😊
Well probably cause there’s only one input and cue, so there’s only so much you can make it difficult without making it just spam
@@pemanilnoobspamming notes doesn’t really work in rhythm heaven
@@pemanilnoobreally wish me more people understood this 😅😅
Like…there’s a difference between a difficult level and a spammy “not fun” level
seeing this after you perfected it is very funny
@@crowyo9137 Hahah a more naive time you might say 😅
The hit on the blackout screen is such an authentically Rhythm Heaven jerk move. Full kudos, this is one of the best custom tracks I've seen. 🎉
Dont they already do that in built to scale 2 on the ds?
@@afish924 Close, but no, the screen isn't entirely blacked out, you can still see the very middle.

This has to be my favorite iteration of a Kaizo version of any rhythm heaven game so far!

It's... oddly satisfying. Added notes flow seamlessly into the original, making them feel natural.
the only thing missing is the kaizo block from mario maker to be added on the last input
Have it block the last shot lol
The 7/8 part near the end just makes me smile 😊

This mod is incredible!!
i love this so much, it's gorgeous
We need a bodies version for this now
Dang, that has a surprisingly great sound to it! Great work!
I never thought five ascending notes could slap so hard
This is actually playable looking. It matches with the music and actually sound good. I can see this being challenging, but fun to do.

For a kaizo this seems surprisingly playable. They didn't cheat by skipping notes or anything
That black screen shook me, same with the overlapping squares
