I remember this movie, it was the first time I could ever afford going to the movie theaters. I went with my mom and brother, and was stunned. This music gives me nostalgia like nothing else can.
Whenever I watch this I get a little feel of actual fear. It just looks and feels so real, all the news and information and how it spread seems like it could really happen.
i mean fear is a really strong feeling i would say it comes right after humans greed but if u know the trick it can be overcome and when u overcome fear itself theres pretty much nothing in this universe that can stop a human given eternal life
All I gotta say is thank you for this movie this is forever gonna be a fond memory of mine because it was the first time I ever saw something zombie related and it will always be my favorite zombie of all time
Same for me dude, it was my first time watching one too and I really enjoyed it. I get that some people who read the novel are annoyed with the movie not sticking to the book’s plot. I think given the order perhaps the book and movie can coexist and perhaps if I saw it the other way around maybe it would be or maybe they wouldn’t be able to. I think the movie was good. One thing I want to say is that the reason I would find a sequel interesting is because if they wanted to, they could show the hordes naturally growing out of the habit of ignoring the ill, kind of like abnormal titans in AOT. If not that then like I figure they could be one of the instances to show the steps in sort of recovering and reviving society which I often feel is overlooked in Zombie apocalypses. I mean, I get the fun is in the surviving or seeing an extinction take place that builds tension. With that being said though, I’d find it interesting if the reclamation was depicted in someway, a cool case study what if. Would remind me somewhat of what’s suggested to come after within the movie Greenland with Gerard Butler (hope I spelled that right).

The music title is perfect to describe what the contagion feels - like a isolated system, wich each infected is a booming atom, heating and/or reacting, continuing the process. Of course, until there is nothing left to react/infect.
One thing I remembered with WWZ(game) is that I liked the cover of the game it being a homage to the Movie cover. Zombies climbing up something while something on top is trying to fight back but being overwhelmed The game made me realize that WWZ could be a movie franchise that could tell multiple stories like the book and have it all happen. Like when Brad(forgot the character's name) was in Israel or something, another character in America is trying to get away from a hoard while another character in Australia is gunning down Zombies before realizing that it's too late. It's a war that is an world wide thing about Zombies, SHOW IT
This is a good idea for a world war z 2, they could do something like the game where it tells different stories with different characters from different places.

Prions like mad cow disease are the closest because the victim to stay alive long enough for it to start biting but rabies simply does aggression by side effect and the victim dies way to fast and it takes to long for the inflammation of the brain to happen. And prions take years for the aggression and madness and doesn't;t cannibalism and is to hard to get infected by it, it would need to be a virus or bacteria to work. So even if some organisations lab engineered rabies to cause cannibalism, not even lab engineering can get past the timing it takes to cause brain problems so even it did happen. Mass organisations like WHO and CDC would take over and probably a huge deal over it because they should and we would still be there happily. (Kinda fearful cuz you could become a zombie)

while the resolution felt rushed i very much enjoy the first hour of this movie. And the track is genius.
