How do you get the tight romaine hearts like you find in the store a lot of times that come in usually the 3 pack? Is it a certain variety of romaine? Every time I've grown them they are usually much looser heads.

I only do 2 basil plants in an aerorden and I refill twice a week. Can't imagine how much 3 or more lettuce would drink a day.

My lettuce never looks this compact…the leaves grow on a stalk not like typical romaine?

I'm just getting started with mine, but I ordered a second machine because I want more room to experiment and grow new things!

How long are the lights on per day. 18 hours?
10 hrs per day is plenty enough. I don't recommend more than this.
Why does my lettuce taste sooooo bitter from this method?
I find using maxi grow plant food makes it less bitter then other plant foods

My hydro lettuce tastes bitter and my hydro bok choy doesn't taste like bok choy. My hydro tatsoi tastes like plastic😂
