This could be what snaps him out of it. As for Cissnei it’s likely she won’t say anything because her official character description mentions her past is shrouded in mystery. I’m sure she wouldn’t want to reveal the reason she knows who Cloud is. And one last thing I noticed during my editing process was during the gameplay segment revealing the different regions, the map in the upper left-hand corner does NOT have the clouds covering Rocket Town etc. So I guess it’s possible we can still explore that area. From the clips I've accidently seen it looks like Cloud with blood on his face attacks Tifa causing her to fall. I have never seen Tifa get swallowed...

Zack and cloud suffer from degradation though unlike sephiroth. I just realized that, in this new timeline if aerith doesn't die she can't cure his degradation like she did in advent children.
@RhysGee it's revealed in crisis core that all people with jenovas cells suffer from degradation. Sephiroth is the only one that has never showed signs of it not being the case. And it was never replicated. However, during the events of dirge of cerebrum hojo did comment cloud may have been his greatest achievement even though he originally wrote him off as a failure. Degradation and the disease in advent children may be portrayed slightly different but they are likely the same thing it's just that one is more pronounced. Every soilder eventually succumbs to degradation that was what was revealed in crisis core.

If you listen closely to Red when hes talking to Cid during the Bonds segment you can hear more of it. It's a little hard to make out with the narrator talking over him but its there.

Sephiroth may kill the party, not just Aerith, they all have doubles in the other timeline which they will likely end being in they get killed and all wake up in the other timeline . Cid waits outside of the temple as he wont get killed as he doesnt have an unconscious double like the main party does.... just a theory

That mystery object at temple of the ancients may be a defeated ancient dragon. the temple was the only place you encountered them in og FF 7. Maybe they turned it into a mini boss

In Japanese the pronouns used, are when Aerith speaks to "true Cloud" under Zack Cloud during the date... but more likely, the specific question and pronouns are affluent to the proise that Genesis speaks in. The rebirth demo threw in two hints already. The casting of lightning magic to break the bridge. The valve turning if you do it perfectly, takes the same amount of time as it takes for Genesis to be told he will rot by Sephiroth.
Oh yeah the world map 3 trackers seem to be. 1) Quest Progress 2) Queens Blood Foes Defeated 3) Summoning Altars (you lower the difficulty of Titan in the grasslands area for each Altar you find.) Maybe other commentators have already said this but here's an extra comment anyhow for the old algorithm.
Good analysis. Didn't pick up that the Temple is shaped like the Shinra logo, amazing. Also the orb vending machine thing in the back is for the crafting system I believe.

What’s odd is how fast it shows his pupils dilated in that scene. It’s almost impossible to notice at full speed. And from what I can tell his pupils don’t seem to be dilated when he’s fighting the Shinra soldiers with ease. He has that look on his face like Sephiroth is in control, but his eyes seem to be normal. Maybe there will be a quick glimpse of his eyes changing before that scene? Edit: actually after looking at the scene again his pupils seem to be dilated. It’s hard to tell though lol
Sadly I tried to pre-order Rebirth Deluxe edition and it is sold out everywhere I look except scalpers on ebay that want 160$ .... No thanks. I'll wait until there are more copies so I won't be playing Rebirth Day 1 which is fine with me. Cissnei's reveal has me the most excited, because she connects Crisis Core and Before Crisis, certainly she is not the only character from the compilation to appear and I'm sure we will see that in the game such as Shotgun, Gun, Rod, Knife, Nunchuck, etc. I think Broden may actually be Velde. That really sucks about the deluxe edition! I didn’t think the deluxe version ever sold out. I thought only the Collectors Edition was limited. Just broke the news to my brother that it’s sold out.. And it’ll be interesting to see who else they decide to include. I can’t wait to see what they end up deciding

Which is needed to access the temple of the ancients, which is also shown, and the devs already reported part 2 stops at the forgotten capital which is where aerith dies. So theyre moving things around so we can assume, they wont kill aerith til part 3. Mideel, aerith dying, repelling meteor and weapons probably will all happen with clouds psychotic break in part 3. Why they're doing a part 3 and not doing it as a DLC late game, IDK

After Cloud and company flag him down, he flies them around the globe in his beloved Tiny Bronco.” His official key art has him on the Tiny Bronco but no rocket in the distance. They did the same thing with Aeriths artwork lacking the Highwind at first. So I suspect when it’s time to release part 3 we’ll get a new key visual of him looking at the rocket because we’ll be visiting Rocket Town. To me this suggests we don’t meet him in Rocket Town. And in the theme song trailer it shows them taking off in the Tiny Bronco but they’re not being shot at. This could be one of the abandoned airstrips we meet him at for the first time. It’s true in the most recent reveal they showed the Tiny Bronco in the water so it still gets shot down at some point. The question is whether or not it still happens in Rocket Town. The map has Rocket Town completely covered with clouds and games typically have covered areas like this that aren’t accessible. But I noticed something during my editing process. I pinned it in a comment but the smaller map they showed in the top left corner while they showed off the different regions does NOT have the clouds covering the area. So it’s still very possible we’ll visit Rocket Town and if I’m being honest I hope we do! I love Rocket Town. But still.. I could see them saving Wutai, Rocket Town, Mideel, and the rest of the Northern continent for part 3.
If you finish the demo, there is a supercut version of the final trailer at the end, and the scene with Cloud and Tifa is slightly different: he has blood on his face. Now this is obviously not the case in the trailer because blood would make the trailer more violent and cause the trailer to be algorithm’ed to death and suppressed from view. That means the final version in game, there is blood. Even so, how often in this remake project have you seen blood on someone’s face? That would indicate a very dramatic event, more so than the fact that Cloud is attracted Tifa. Tifa doesn’t look hurt, does that mean someone was attacked by Cloud?
I noticed the blood too! Unfortunately forgot to mention it though haha. But honestly I thought it could’ve been blood spatter from all the Shinra troops he just killed. You can see all of their bodies behind him in that scene when he’s charging Tifa. But maybe something crazier happened as you suggest? I can’t wait to find out

Love the video but you did mention a lore mistake that many fans make. The Sephiroth dropping from the sky to stab Aerith is not just Jenova, not completely it is an amalgamation of Sephiroth and Jenova. The books explain it best.
Sephiroth spirit alive within cloud? Kinda like a hulk type thing where sephiroth takes over cloud at times. Cloud fighting his own dark side. Sephiroth is still dead at this time until cloud brings his body the black materia which connects sephiroths spirit and body and therefore sephiroth is reborn.
For sure! We’ve seen his influence over Cloud multiple times in the OG so it’ll be interesting to see how often they implement moments like that in Rebirth and Part 3
When you said meet Roche in the Gold Saucer, my brain went: Imagine we can get a Roche date! I didn't like the guy too much in Remake but I don't know, THAT I'd find super funny. Say as a failsafe, if you mess up all your party member relationships, haha. 13:12 look at that little shake of his head. It feels kinda... vain. Not like like Cloud. I can't put my finger on where but I even feel like I've seen Sephiroth make this exact movement.

Maybe the movements you’re thinking of are when Cloud is fighting Sephiroth at the Edge of Creation at the end of Remake? I feel like I recall Sephiroth dodging some of his attacks nonchalantly with a similar facial expression.
What shocks me most of all is that Aerith gives the white matter to this cloud of Zack's "line". I don't know what sense it makes because this cloud has not experienced anything with the group... and on top of that, Sephiroth is also there in the church. and he kills Zack and then enters the church to kill Cloud and Aerith with another sword blow... and thus obtain the white matter... It will be quite a hoot... but I ask myself a question and that is that if she has to resort to this "line" of Zack's, it is because in the other one he may not have killed her... and therefore the sacred matter did not fall and she has to resort to this “sephiroth” “line”, but what sense does it have to travel here…. because if he kills her in the other he can take sacred directly... still many unknowns and there is less than a month left to go little by little and see what happens...😇😇😇
I really hope so! But don’t forget they’ve said several times we won’t be visiting places in the same order. It makes sense since Cid is in this game, but maybe we meet him at one of his new airstrip things they they mentioned. Another thing that makes me think they might save Rocket Town for Part 3 is his official key art. The rocket isn’t in the image similar to how the Highwind wasn’t in Aeriths for Remake. I suspect once Part 3 comes out they’ll release another key art with the rocket in the image.

This is worth your time more than the dumb trailers. 3/3/2020 - original FF7R release date 3/20/2020 - Eternal release date Spoiler: Doomguy destroys "argent energy" reactors. What game does this borrow plot from, as if Romero steals? Spoiler 2: Impel Down (ID) is full of Doom imagery, from Hannybal the Imp to Sphinx the Pinky, to the wolves scene perfectly matching the Doom cover. I will be satisfied. Not one hair on Aerith's head will be harmed, so long as Doomguy has sworn to save her. THE. STREETS. WILL. FLOW. WITH THE BLOOD OF THE NONBELIEVERS.
Probably to give us a fresh continent to explore as well as the Mideel area. In addition to new areas we have playable Cid and Vincent to look forward to as well. Just a guess though!

I've only played the PS1 1997 OG-version about 100 times, meaning I'm well familiar with the orderr of events in regards of the main story. That said, it is my understanding that both Remake and Rebirth takes a lot of "creators liberties" from the original story and order of events. User score on metacritic was quite harsh at times. Seems to me that players of the 1997 OG-version generally dislike the Remake. I haven't played Any other Final Fantasy game than FF7 1997-release for PS1. The only other fantasy-genre games I've ever played since is Dragon Age Origins for PC and Witcher3 for PS4. - with that said, will I realistically enjoy the story of Remake/Rebirth? Or will I find the JRPG-style too "goofy" for me if I've enjoyed the "adult" atorytelling of Witcher3? Will the combat be too big of a threshold to learn/enjoy? Thanks in advance.❤
@@user-ki3ev2qj4j Yep it’s confirmed to be a trilogy. It begins in Kalm/Nibelheim flashback and ends at the Forgotten Capital. I personally love what they’re doing with the Remake trilogy. I can’t say for certain whether or not you’ll like it, but the I think Remakes reception was overwhelmingly positive. The negative reviews of course will stick out more than the praise it received though. I think as long as you go into it knowing it’s a ‘reimagining’ of the story we all know and love you’ll like it. But again I can’t say for certain. I personally think they nailed the combat and everything else in Remake. When you eventually do play it I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Unfortunately not but personally I don’t mind. It gives me something to look forward to in Part 3. We have Cait Sith, Yuffie, and Red XIII introduced this time around so I can imagine they wanted to save some new character combat for the third game as well.

Another thing that makes me think they might save Rocket Town for Part 3 is his official key art. The rocket isn’t in the image similar to how the Highwind wasn’t in Aeriths for Remake. I suspect once Part 3 comes out they’ll release another key art with the rocket in the image.

Spoiler 2: Impel Down (ID) is full of Doom imagery, from Hannybal the Imp to Sphinx the Pinky, to the wolves scene perfectly matching the Doom cover.

I haven't played Remake (yet). I've only played the PS1 1997 OG-version about 100 times, meaning I'm well familiar with the orderr of events in regards of the main story.
That said, it is my understanding that both Remake and Rebirth takes a lot of "creators liberties" from the original story and order of events. User score on metacritic was quite harsh at times. Seems to me that players of the 1997 OG-version generally dislike the Remake.
I haven't played Any other Final Fantasy game than FF7 1997-release for PS1.
The only other fantasy-genre games I've ever played since is Dragon Age Origins for PC and Witcher3 for PS4.
- with that said, will I realistically enjoy the story of Remake/Rebirth?
Or will I find the JRPG-style too "goofy" for me if I've enjoyed the "adult" atorytelling of Witcher3?
Will the combat be too big of a threshold to learn/enjoy?

@@user-ki3ev2qj4j Yep it’s confirmed to be a trilogy. It begins in Kalm/Nibelheim flashback and ends at the Forgotten Capital.
I personally love what they’re doing with the Remake trilogy. I can’t say for certain whether or not you’ll like it, but the I think Remakes reception was overwhelmingly positive. The negative reviews of course will stick out more than the praise it received though.
I think as long as you go into it knowing it’s a ‘reimagining’ of the story we all know and love you’ll like it. But again I can’t say for certain. I personally think they nailed the combat and everything else in Remake. When you eventually do play it I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Unfortunately not but personally I don’t mind. It gives me something to look forward to in Part 3. We have Cait Sith, Yuffie, and Red XIII introduced this time around so I can imagine they wanted to save some new character combat for the third game as well.
Just because he isn't playable in this part it doesn't mean he will be that way either in update or in part 3.
