We need a Remake of this game and Golden Sun 2 as if it were a single game. It would be great if monsters were all over the map like Dragon Quest XI. And above all with an orchestrated soundtrack just like this one. It's perfect, very good work and a lot of nostalgia.
The goddamned nostalgia right here. Venturing out from Vale to Vault, to the northern reaches of Imil and the Kolima woods to save Bilblin and Kolima. Down through the Altin mines and into Kalay. Crossing the Karagol and fighting in Colosso before departing for Babi and Venus lighthouses. The journey across Angara and northern Gondowan will always stick with me
Hi folks - I hope you enjoyed this arrangement! I just wanted to let you all know I have to take a short break for a couple of weeks as my other composition work is piling up a little bit - and I have to shift my focus to that for the moment (in order to survive! xD) - I hope that is forgivable. I'll see you all in a couple of weeks! Edit: Also, we just hit 100,000 cumulative views! \o/
Take care then. Btw, do you believe Dark Dawn music is worth arranging? I feel like your style will breathe the new air that does those songs the most justice. I'd kill to hear how you would do the Apollo Sanctum of Light and the Saturos theme of Dark Dawn.
I am tempted to do a couple of themes from Dark Dawn at some point, though most of those are already orchestral arrangements (from Sakuraba himself!) Watch this space!
Im sure in Motoi Sakuraba's heart, he would do the remake of Golden Sun series himself if that was his department. Now he can only wait and hope like the rest of us for a Golden Sun remake or Dark Dawn sequel.
A perfect Golden Sun Remake: Graphics: Zelda Breath of the wild Battle Mechanics: Trials of Mana World Map: Bravely Default II style Music: Reorchested OST
Oh, memories. Your arrangement is fabulous. All the exciting feeling of a bigger-than-life adventure. Your scores are masterclasses in orchestration, alongside the greatest composers.
When I hear this theme, I recall the moment when Isaac & Garet left Vale for the Journey. Three dots appearing slowly over Isaac and then them both walking away from Vale... to find themselves on a Big Road. Isaac seems smaller, everythings looks bigger, strangely unusual. And this music starts. Just to accompany us until the rest of the great journey (tor even until the rest of our lives, for some of us... :) ).
I can't help but appreciate how hard this game went with its music, despite being a GBA game. It didn't have to be as epic as it was, considering the system limitations, but it did. And I always have and always will love it.
Dude... The horns you added at 0:29 get me every time. I listen to this entire playlist pretty much every day while at work and every time I hear that part I get chills. I mentioned in another one of your videos how good you are at making little additions that help to emphasize certain parts of a song and this is an excellent example of that. Love your style man, keep up the awesome work!
Thank you so much for this and your other gorgeous orchestral arrangements of Golden Sun music! As the first two games just came out on the Switch, I've been playing through them for the first time in years and I've fallen in love with them all over again. Your work really captures and enhances the spirit of the music. There needs to be another Golden Sun game and it needs to sound like this!
It didn't beat the original, but I will download it to my MP3 player and possibly use it as Journey theme... Thank you, sir. Your love for GS is great for sure, as no one does Angarian Journey that good.
Hi folks!! I had a wish, i wished that Advance Wars remake trailer plays a metal versión of Sami's Theme and that wish made reality Now i would love Golden Sun Remake trailer will have this orchested Theme Maybe this wish will come true too
Been listening to this arrangement of the GS world map theme again, it's awesome! Actually this particular version reminds me even more of the first field theme in Tales of Zestiria - "The Exciting First Journey", in terms of orchestral palette: ruclips.net/video/AR_NnuU1ICA/видео.html Now imagine Sakuraba doing his enhanced orchestral version of the GS world map theme, pretty sure it will sound even more majestic!

I just replayed it all last week - and boy, did that nostalgia hit me hard!

A Golden Sun remake with botw style and music like this. Only in our dreams XD

I want a Mario rpg type remake
It feels so nice to hear the whole song, in-game the random encounters make it impossible to play and hear at the same time.
Wonderful Cover. One of my favorites games on GBA.

15 years ago,I dream of one day. I can hear the orchestra reproduce it. You realized my dream. thank you.
I’m surprised it didn’t cut into the battle phase every 5 seconds.
Ah.. Ivan Attacks!
I legitimately teared up listening to this. Thank you!
If someday i get to study overseas i will listen to this on the way
Absolutely fantastic! You've done Motoi Sakuraba proud with this one, well done.

The first departure of my gamer life, I have chills while listening to your rendition of this theme

Doing the lord's work with these. Absolutely amazing. Much love!
This arrangement is great! I love that horn melody. As a someone who plays horn and appreciates a great horn line, Thank you!
I love these Golden Sun arrangements! Would love Attack on Tarir from GW2 if you ever have time/interest too
Really love it, the texture of the crash cymbals here especially really reminds me of Sakuraba's more recent orchestral compositions!
beautiful!
A call for adventure ! Reminds me the beginning of my long journey as a gamer =) Thank you once again Jonathan ! Your arrangements are amazing !
Clearly your best piece. You almost made my cry with this one. Excellent job (the comment is a bit late xD)
No comments are too late - glad you enjoyed it :D

Can't wait for the main theme. :)
