Love my 12 Pro Max. Been a great upgrade from my XS Max. The size isn’t an issue for me, little harder to use one handed but the screen size is worth it.
I won’t upgrade my 11 Pro Max, it’s not worth it at all, upgrades are very minors. The 11 Pro Max still is blazing fast, has great battery life and OLED display.
Will wait for the 13 or 14 release with Pro Motion 120Hz, that will be a bit more interesting upgrade.
I’m upgrading for more storage. They finally realized pro shouldn’t start at 64 gb.

I’m sticking with my 11 pro max. IMO it’s not enough of a difference for me to make that move especially when my phone still works great! I’m waiting to see what they do next year that’s when I plan to upgrade.

I upgraded to 11pro max from Xr. I didn’t go for 12 cuz I didn’t like the look of it. Also I was on a budget and the 11 pro max was at a damn good price especially for 256Gb
Oh course it is not worth upgrading! It really annoys me how you say absolutely, when there are barely any changes, why would I spend around $2000 (CAD) just for better LTE and slightly better cameras???? Please don't say absolutely when there is absolutely no reason to upgrade.

I just got the iPhone 12 pro max today and really really love it. Super fast and just a fantastic performer. Internet speeds are really good in most areas. What’s interesting to me though is how I can set it to use just 5g network versus using one or the other, or just using LTE only. What I don’t understand is that in the room I tested the speed using the same app you used here, I got 101mb down speed on just the LTE. I turn on only 5g and it can range from 80-100mb down. My question is I guess, is does the phone use 5g no matter what when available?
I won’t be upgrading, it’s no need to, I have an 11 Pro Max, I like to hold onto my phones for long periods of time. I’m not the type of person where I need the latest tech all the time. 11 Pro Max is working just fine. I’ll keep it till the wheels fall off.

We preordered a 12 Pro Max before we replaced all our other phones. Had it for 2 days already. I’m not a fan of the squared off sides, some hand fatigue. I’ll probably just keep my 11 Pro Max until next year.

I know exactly, I was relieved too when I held it. I've been hearing every tech reviewer say how big it is, I didn't think so at all. Its almost the same size as my S10+. I guess they're saying that in terms of previous iphones.
It’s barely larger than other Max phones. People that go on about the size are obviously not big phone users. If you are, it should not be a change at all.

Recently got a 12 pro max, coming from the standard iPhone 11. It’s a really good upgrade, but unless you have a very good deal through your carrier (full price trade in for a 5g phone through Verizon in my case, 700 off a new phone), I say wait for the next generation of phones coming this fall. Otherwise, I love my new 12 PM with its additional telephoto, night mode capability, 5g compatibility, and the screen size is a breath of fresh air considering I’m used to screen sizes of 6.1” and below.

Just gone from an 11 pro max to a 12 pro max and the upgrade is significant, paper specs don’t do it justice. The reception and Wi-fi connectivity converting to actual activity on your phone is a significant improvement, more like an android phone. It’s worth the upgrade if you can sell your 11 pro max

I absolutely love my 11 Pro Max!!!!
I had upgraded over a year ago to an 11 Pro Max, and the price difference between the storage options had me choosing the 64gig model, that I regretted before I ever received it.
I’m also an avid photographer, so the new Dolby, And LiDAR addition tipped the scales for me.
I also went with 256gb storage option, because it really wasn’t that much more. I could’ve went with 512gb, but I’m not one to store my life on a phone, and while I shoot a lot of 4K stuff, even with my 12 Pro Max, I rarely ran out of room, because I’d always download and delete my raw footage for each project.
256gb does give me comfortable headroom, and will make it easier to work with more than one project at a time.
I can’t wait to get it!!!

I feel like since the 12 pro max came out that Apple is making my 11 pro max run goofy so I upgrade. I have had 0 problems with my 11 pro max except for the last 2-3 weeks. Running slow, hang ups, slow uploading.

i am struggling to justify the upgrade from 11 pro max to 12 pro max. There is no 5g yet in my country. The only difference i could notice in daily use is the camera.
The LTE is way faster too, as the 12 has a much better modem

Hey Max, just received my 12 pro max today. my display is really yellow? its way warmer of a display than my iphone x. apple support tells me its "normal" and thats just how the new iphone 12 displays are. but idk, my iphone x colors are so much better. have you had this issue at all?

I have had an iPhone 8+ for three years that’s in perfect condition. I am looking at upgrading but I’m on a tight budget. I’m disabled. I have one issue that has been frustrating, especially when I make videos when there’s darker settings. I’m looking forward to upgrading my iPhone and I intend to use the Dolby application.

Max! The whites on my iPhone 12 Pro Max are not quite white. A little yellow gray. My iphone 7+ does white brilliantly. Does OLED not do a true white? This is going to drive me crazy. Yes I did turn off the true tone and night shift etc. and I have experimented with brightness. Thank you.
