TOLD A CHURCH MEMBER ONE TIME, I SAID " FOLLOW ME, THE LORD WILL SHOW US A METAPHOR FOR BRONZE "
HE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME BUT FOLLOWED ME IN HIS VEHICLE. MINUTES LATER THROUGH THE LORD'S GUIDED STEPS AND MY STRONG FAITH, WE ARRIVED AT " BRONZE STREET" IN DUNCAN LIKE, TEXAS. HALLELUJAH, AMEN ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜💜💜
Wow amen. Surely the LORD is not short of testimonies. Its not easy to merely preach faith for GOD has unique ways of revealing HIMSELF to the hardened hearts.
Amen.
I wasn't sure what I'd learn from this sacred part of the Tabernacle, but when it mentioned about its use for washing hands and feet or else you die, two things came to mind.
First, when it mentioned about using the Bronze Laver for washing of feet, it reminded me of when Jesus Christ desired to wash the Disciple's feet. When Peter had first refused, Jesus Christ told Peter that without this important step, Peter would have no part with Christ.
Along with this, we are to be washed fully through the Ordinance of Baptism, so that we may be saved and enter into the Presence of God.
In addition, I noticed the placement of the Bronze Laver in front of the Holiest place of the Tabernacle. Much like the Restored Ordinances of our Latter day, we must make the first step of individual Baptism outside the Holy Temple before we can receive our Endowments and Sealing Ordinances, this Sacred Piece was used for the Priests as they Washed and could prepare for additional and more Holy Work. Like this Ancient and Sacred Piece in the Tabernacle's courtyard, we too must be washed clean with the Atonement of Jesus Christ before we can progress with the Saving Ordinances as found in the Holy Temple of the Lord.
Hey
Shalom
Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ
Galatians 4:9-11
But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain.
Titus 1:13-14
This testimony is true. For this reason reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith, not paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who turn away from the truth
1 Peter 1:18-19
knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ
Amen
