    Madam, I have a quick question that word ถนน no tone mark and no sa-ra า behind ถ. So how can we know the pronouncing is /ta non/ ?

    • @kruuwareeallaboutthai5363
      @kruuwareeallaboutthai5363  5 лет назад +5

      ถนน = ถ + นน
      If any consonant is stand alone, don’t hv any vowel behind. You always automatically add -ะ behind it. So we read ta-non.

      For eg
      "வலி","வழி" and "வளி" which is pronounced as "vali" (วลี)
      But வலி means "pain"
      வழி means "way" and வளி means "aerobic or aerobically"
      But we don't have tones or tonal rules, we use different stress to pronounce word.
      We have கரி, கறி which is pronounced as "kari" (ขัรี)
      கரி means coal and கறி means meat
      Finally கந் ,கண், கன் (กัน)
      கண் means eye, கன் means gun
      And கந் means drinking can
