Saw it on Quest this morning (Star Wars Day) and at the end of the show, when they're totting up what it's cost, they omitted the cost of the accelerator pedal potentiometers!... (£499). They only included the cost of getting the fly-by-wire box under the bonnet refurbed (£399) So the £3.5k profit when they sold it..... wasn't.

This with a manual is kind of better than the 4200GT that came after it with a clunky semi-auto gearbox.
If we got the 3200 here in the U.S. I would take it any day over the 4200 just for the taillights. :)
I've driven both the manual 3200 and the semi-auto (Cambiocorsa) 4200 and overall the 4200 is a much better car (apart from the tail-lights!). The 4200 has far better torque range (and far better sound) from the normally aspirated V8, and the car is much more reliable. The Cambiocorsa gearbox takes a bit to get used to as you need to use a little throttle control when changing gears (like any real sports car) but drive it properly and it is a fantastic car. I still have the 4200.

This engine has more than 410 hp, Maserati was forced by Ferrari, which owned the company at that time, to declare lower power as Ferrari’s 3.6 V8 engine who equipped 360 Modena powered less than 400 hp at that time. Maserati was placed by Ferrari as a more accessible and cheaper brand, so a they could not be more powerful than a Ferrari. Many dino tests with regular unmodified engines showed even 420 hp peak power. This was the last real Maserati engine until the current MC20 model

Porsche 911 996 kann beim Thema Sound, Emotion und Feeling einfach nicht mithalten im Vergleich zum 3200 GT!!! This car was not Made in conjunction with Ferrari. The 4200 was.
think ferrari were well and truly involved before the 4200 making the 3200 a quantum leap forward in engineering & QC - yes the 4200 went further with a modified ferrari engine - the 3200 felt quicker due to throttle pedal mapping and turbo rush - one i drove was fidgeting all over the road too - fighting to keep it in same lane on a motorway

mike one friday night i went to see a ford galaxy i drove 12 junctions down the m4 keeping in touch with the seller it took ages when i arrived at the sellers house he had already sold it i was furious all that way and petrol for nothing .

Not with the likes of Juan Manuel Fangio behind the wheel back in the 50s it wasn't. And now they are rebranding with a new model line-up.
Except Fiat isn't trash to begin with. Sure, they do produce cheap, entry-level cars under the 'Fiat' brand name, but they tend to be cheap to maintain and reliable too. Forget all that 'fix it again Tony' bullshit. Have you ever owned one, or just bad-mouthing it cause it's the popular thing to do?

@@louisk6485 I owned a few Fiats, one was rusty as fück, one had a host of issues, but in all fairness, it kept on chugging and one was brand new and was so bad, I gave it back.
@@calibrazxr750 define "bad". Like I said, fiats are usually cheap, entry level cars. Can't speak for reliability these days, but in the late 90s, early 00s they were sturdy and could be maintained for pennies.
