Wow, thanks Neil. I wil definitely check this out. Just a shout out to tell you that I started listening to you when I was 15. My highschool boyfriend was in a band that played Buffalo Springfield tunes among others. They were good enough to have gigs every weekend. Your voice and tunes have aways always touched me very deeply in my soul. Thanks again.

Yes, Neil Young is often the same music with the same sound, same kind of melodies same chords suites but still sounds very good.
He went bad in the 80s when he released albums like "Landing on Water" which were really awful with 80s synth sounds and cold production. Then he came back to reality, to himself and HIS music.

    • @navajotrail9253

It's 12 years later, but still, sorry for your loss. I lost a great male friend, also Neil fan, this past March. I really hated that he didn't get to go with my best girl & me to see Neil & The Horse at Atlanta on May 7th. It was the Absolute Best Night Of Our Lives, as I waited almost 50 years for that special nite. I was high for at least three weeks. Thanks Neil & Horse. I love this song, kinda reminds me of 2012 studio jam. Will's favorite was
Cowgirl in The Sand. RIP Will Hampton Johnston. Miss You My Friend. 11/28/2024 🐎☮️

Interesting, you talk about meeting him. I've had lots of dreams where I get to meet him, and in the dream he is just like a normal person, wants to meet me, shake my hand, know who I am, and wants to know why I like his music so much. It is such an incredible disappointment to wake up, and know that it was only a dream. I've seen him five times live, but I would still love to see him and the horse play up close, in the front row.

I now know that if I should ever see him again that I will do whatever it takes to be up front right there with him & Old Black. WHATEVER IT TAKES.

"Worried that you can't hear now me now, feel the time I took"
"Dreamin bout the way you feel now, when you hear my song..."
Most of my life is filled with nothing but good, good memories, while listening to Neil's music. Then came a time when the music was nothing but torture. I couldn't listen to Neil for about five years. It hurt too much. And no other musician could fill that void.

I'm drifting back as well. Thank you.

To have created such great music for so many years and also stayed at the forefront of music evolution. That tells you all you need to know about how unique he is,,,,,,and how unique Crazy Horse is. Neil and Crazy horse played for 3 hours straight at the Plenary Melbourne, They played there hearts out, loud fast and passionate like it was the first time they had played these songs. Like teenagers in older bodies. They toured through the end of 2012 and have 30 gigs ahead of them in Europe and Neil is now 67 ''Far from lazy'', they are a Juggernaut ! Melbourne concerts were amazing! I am glad that I saw the Melbourne gigs through my eyes. May the 'Horse be with you'!

Saw him last night at the L.G. arena in Birmingham. Fourth time I've seen him and he just gets better. I went to the zepplin reunion concert which in my opinion just seemed to be a bunch of old men making fools of themselves, nothing like I remember them when they were the best band in the world. If Neil is still touring when he is a hundred, I'll still be going to see him. Best feedback guitarist who ever lived. Last nights encore, Powderfinger, awesome.

I have also loved him since I was a teenager. I'm 62 now and it was also my dream to see him live. I did finally get to see him May 7th, 2024 at Atlanta. Best night of my life. Keep the faith. Dreams Do Come True. 11/22/2024.

Rush Fanbaugh Love your Avatar, I bought that LP in the first month on it's release. No one knew the band, "RUSH". I also love Neil Young and especially his work with "Crazy Horse". Many of NY's songs are addictive and some like this one are weird, but that is Neil.

Hey George Texstel you can enjoy the music, but you sure as hell will have trouble seeing Neil playing live back in his younger days like I did when he was in CSN & Y and also Stills/Young Band. Seeing a solo show in Ruston La. and then seeing Neil having breakfast later that night at the local college grill. Seeing a solo show at the legendary La. Hayride Building in Shreveport La. where Neil never sounded better sharing a stage that Elvis, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams played on. That is what my comment meant.

The sound, the chemistry between Ralf,,Billy, Pancho and Neil is such a unique grouping of elements that Crazy Horse will always sound so good to it's listeners. Matured yes, aged Hell No!!!! sound as good today as 40 years ago, if not better then ever. Love these guys!
