The bride in the Garo tribe decides who she wants to marry and sends her dad and uncles to kidnap him.
Then the Boy is persuaded into marriage.

Some days ago, I had a dream that I am seating in a room in very ordinary cloths, and my parents are arranging marriage for me with a groom, who was kidnapped. And after that marriage (after some time also) My parents arranged another wedding for me with anothet kidnapped groom. In the second marriage, the groom tried to run out, but get caught. In both weddings, there was a third person too, who was doing the ritual like priest (but not any particular ritual, or he wasn't dressed like priest of our culture)
Maybe I saw my past life 😅
Now I can relate...
Coz in UP, I think they had some incidents like this, but in my dream they're not looking like UP Waley, but they were looking like North Indians actually
