Hi, Ben. I received the 1962 Franklin in PCGS PR67 DCAM that you sent me. It is lovely. I recommend everyone to get at least one DCAM Franklin. They look so nice.

Perhaps the Certified Acceptance Corporation has cracked the code and will offer grade/date/generation verification stickers for PMG holders. An entirely new market.

I really don't understand the collecting of generations of holders. It seems odd that a common Morgan might be worth more than the coin is actually worth because it's in an OGH or the holder that used a label that had perforations on the edges. It's the coin that drives things.

Have you considered cracking out (if that's what you'd call it with notes) the one in the yellowed film and sending it back in to be put in a newer holder? Or would PMG do it for free, since their older holders are obviously flawed?

Has there been grade-flation with currency holders like coin slabs?

Are the gen 1 holders more desirable to have like the original slabs?

No. I just got a note in a Gen 1 holder, and I hate it. I thought it was counterfeit. I’m looking into how much it will cost to get it re-holdered.
