As i aged, my love for culture and the arts grow stronger, even more so, towards those that show our authentic and uniqueness as one diverse country. While some more known festivities shown great value for entertainment, i just felt that some of them are but copies and mixed with colonial influences. And believe me, more and more towns in the country are adapting their own festivities with no deep connection to their history. They just create and make their own for pure entertainment. It just doesn’t appeal to me. Anyway, salute to these institutions for keeping our AUTHENTIC culture and traditions alive and thriving.

Good cultural presentation of our brothers & sisters in the Cordillera. Only the "cameraman who shot the scene is at the back of perforners". You don't watch the show at the back
Thank you sir, we , the audience were at the back of the performers at that time, the judges were on the stage where the performers are facing, . Please watch some of my cultural dance videos thank you

Very good cultural presentation to be proud of.
"MrStraightlover" Somehow there are certain universal elements to tribespeople. These dances are often originated from preparation for warfare , physically and psychologically.
@@obscurelyvague In Indonesia, the Dayak is usually called "tribesmen", in comparison to "Javanese" or "Balinese" which are never addressed as "tribe". It seems that the Dayaks share the same civilization stage with the Igorots, because they share the same ornamentals in their traditional costumes: their accessories are made of animal tooth, bird feathers, beads, etc, in contrast to Javanese's traditional accessories which are made of metal (gold, silver, etc) and never apply crude animal tooth, beads, as accesories.

Yes , they have similarities in culture
