Andy overplayed his game by talking to Rachel to win his jury vote. After Genevieve won immunity he should have laid low. One should always consider there is an idol into Play, and should avoid to become an alternative target themselves. Play a good strategic game but don't make yourself too much of a target. Gabler did this very well in the past.
THIS IS GENUINELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE SEASONS OF ALL TIME! so many blindsides and massive strategic moves. if Rachel takes this win, this will be such a satisfying season to watch. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I also love sue. she's not played a flashy game but she's been the most well-insulated player the entire game because of her social game. she hasn't been seen as a threat despite finishing second in the first 4-5 immunity challenges because of how personable she was. and she's been involved in every vote except for the Caroline and Gabe vote. obviously Rachel is a better winner, but I don't think sue gets the credit she deserves. for being 50+ and doing so damn well in this game, she needs respect
Sue is a goat and follower. Any big threat she stays around 🤣 Her idol was useless. If I was her I’d steal Rachel’a thunder to take out Sam or something when that idol was played. Her threat level is basically nothing, so it wouldn’t have matter much

If you are in danger, just play it, and yet in 46 we saw so many of the obvious targets go home holding one. NOT RACHEL LAMONT
So satisfying seeing Andy goes home. Thats what happens when you care more about your legacy, returning in future seasons and being remembered rather than playing to win. I’m so happy Rachel and Sue did what the Gata tribe failed to do before the merge! Andy has come a long way from his first Immunity Challenge breakdown, but I’ve wanted him out since episode one. No doubt he’ll be considered for “Survivor 50”, but he still needs to see a therapist. Something is just off about him and I don’t know what that is.
I don’t think he needs to see a therapist, I just think he’s a socially awkward person who has some insecurities and unfortunately socially awkward people are the ones who usually have their insecurities drawn out the most in reality tv, I don’t actually think anything is severely wrong with him to the point he needs to see a specialist especially considering how well he handled being voted out

There was something similar that happened on “Survivor 44” where they split tribes. Heidi found the advantage and used it, but it didn’t make a difference because Matt still got voted out. Sometimes things work out and sometimes they don’t work out.
To be fair almost every winner had a lucky moment like that where they escaped elimination. You can’t fault them for getting lucky. It’s nowhere near as egregious as Ben’s idol bombs and surprise final 4 firemakimg
