I feel so honored for never hating this man for a panic attack he couldn't control and he ended up becoming my favourite player just because of how well he played under his circumstances and how much he grew as a person in a tough island.
And the operation Italy legit save the season from a boredfest of "women" alliance who'll just gonna betray Rachel eventually with Caroline's in charge
This was a very wholesome video interview. Rob clearly very proud of Andy and Andy pleased to have played a great game Rob appreciates. Episode 12 one for the history books 🇮🇹 well played Andy!
Unironically, this season would feel completely empty without Andy. Truly the crutch that 47 needed and he NEEDS to be the pick from 47 on survivor 50.
@@nomercy4186 You don't know that. There would be someone else to replace him, is what I mean. He's entertaining though, and played a very entertaining game, so I do know where you're coming from. I'm glad he was on.
Andy should be proud of the game he played! He was self interested but never cruel, created so many iconic moments, and showed true vulnerability. Rooting for an Andy return for season 50!
I 10000% Agree. Rachel would've went home.. but if Rachel wasn't there in final 6. Then maybe Genevieve wins again, and I would assume Sam would be out. Then in the final 4.. Andy would have to win in fire. So yeah. He probably does win.... well it depends. Because in the final 6, there's a possibility Sue votes for Andy instead of Same, or sam wins immunity, and maybe they keep Gen over Andy. Idk.. but yeah i agree if Rachel didn't find the idol there's a huge chance he wins
Sad to lose Andy and Genevieve in the same ep. In my opinion, they were some of the most interesting players of the new era. Baby Andy was eliminated, but at least he orchestrated one of the greatest moves ever seen on Survivor. I hope they bring him back for season 50.
One of my players ever - so much love for you Andy, I identify with you personally in many ways, and it was amazing meeting you in person. You were so great out there and you clearly had a blast living your dream. So happy for you!
I love the journey he went on to have this season. Many wrote him out after episode 1 but he ended up being one of the best strategically. Andy for Season 50 🙌
I am so glad Andy was on Survivor. Survivor has been my favorite show as long as I can remember, but watching the season 47 premiere felt like it was going to be a chore and I wasn’t excited about it. That all changed when I fell “in love” with Andy on episode one. I have enjoyed this season so much and cannot recall the last time I enjoyed watching a player so much as I do Andy. It makes my life better knowing Andy’s out there in the world.
I see Andy as a great example of how to turn a preceived fail into a win in terms of how he played his game. It's easy to give up, use what happened as a crutch. It's harder to overcome, but he collected himself, stepped it up & came up with some amazing strategies. I hope this experience serves him well throughout his life. Well done Andy. Your mom must be very proud .
My favourite player this season!!!! Sad that he’s out. Hope he’s back for 50 and brings that A game through the whole season. Thanks Andy for a great game!
As a Big Brother fan, it seems Andy was going for a Kevin Jacobs strategy where he plays into the perception of being a weak player that is getting dragged along only to flip that perception to win at the end. Big difference is that Kevin had a more gradual transition, which made the arc more believable to his opponents while Andy was banking on Operation: Italy being the big inflection point to where he could start making massive shifts in perception. This strategy is great because, if you play it right, you get access to so much information. You can amass significant swing vote power if you create your own bloc to influence things in directions that suit your interests. The drawback is that you can hide your game so well that the jury simply doesn’t see it and you’re locked out of winning. Kevin was able to turn that into an auto-win if he made it to the end from the F4 whereas Andy struggled. All in all, I would say he played a good game. Sure he may have had an uphill battle in a jury vote, but I appreciated that he knew that and was trying to course correct. I’m big on awareness and adaptability. Andy was able to realize his mistakes then craft a plan that maximized his strengths and minimized his weaknesses. Good game to watch. Also kudos to Rachel being straight gansta with that threat. I wish I could have seen it 🤣 EDIT: He literally cited Kevin Jacobs. I had the right read 😁
Andy is my new hero! I love an underdog become hero. And , Andy definitely deserves ALL the praise!!! I’m watching Survivor again because of ANDY!!!! King.👑
100%. Most of the time, that "dont do this or i'll never vote for you" always has the opposite effect for the action and/or the person making that proclamation. If you conform to their demand they definitely wont vote for you, so you might as well just lie more cos at least get the game respect on the jury.
Andy did awesome. He had a panic attack at the beginning and I can see why, I can’t imagine the stress of the scramble! But he learned and adapted and if he had made it to the final three, he would have had a hell of an argument to win. I hope he goes on an all star season!
I'll never forget when I met Andy('s cousin) at that bar, right before the episode when Anika went home. The game portrayed him like a clumsy idiot who didn't know what was going on, but after meeting him and talking to him for a while, it was extremely puzzling to me how this could be the case. He was really well spoken, thoughtful, and charismatic- the exact opposite of what the show was trying to tell us up to that point. I felt like "Andy's a really smart guy, no WAY this is the same guy they're trying to show us on our tv screen. After meeting him, he seems way smarter than the show is letting on" Little did I know starting the next episode, he'd be exactly as smart and thorough as he came off to me when I talked to him for a few hours in person. Bravo, Andy- your game is a thing of legend!
I love that he mentioned Kristy Bennett from Survivor Australia. That’s a very similar type of gameplay that he could’ve used at final tribal to possibly win, given how good of a talker he is
I knew it and posted it at the time - and he just confirmed it - the other players thought he had flipped (per “usual Andy”) without realizing how he had masterminded that plan. Regardless, he is a brilliant person and one of the most articulate players ever.
i was rooting for you so hard but it was to bad to see you go you where one of the strongest players i thought you better be the pick for survivor 50 and i think you have a good shot
I really liked Andy in this season. I had a full blown 'dad watching football' moment when he got voted out lol. He made this season super entertaining.
So much was made of the battle between Genevieve and Rachel, but the two best overall long-term strategic players seem to be Rachel and Andy. As Rachel put it, they both seemed to be more like the ocean than the captain of the ship. They were both playing the hidden game, although Rachel also had to keep winning immunity to stay in the game. Andy is one of the most articulate analyzers of the game, and who would have guessed it after his day 3 breakdown?
I don’t like seeing players get a second chance unless I feel like we’re going to see something new from them, and Andy is one of those. I really think Andy 2.0 in a second chances season would give us some even greater moments.
Andy seemed to have a strong grasp over what was really happening in the game, so much so that I thought the panic attack in the beginning was planned. Andy continually made accurate assessments and successfully manipulated the environment. I thought he was going to win, until he was honest with Rachel, which shocked me.
I think maybe in the beginning he simply did not have enough information to work with. I guess in the beginning, trying to figure out the game of Survivor, is like trying to put all the pieces of a puzzle together. Some players might have been able to adapt to the game more quickly, but with Andy he probably needed to put things in perspective first.
I love Baby Andy!! He was awesome and I was truly rooting for him the whole way, UNTIL I wasn't 😅 He definitely overplayed his hand and got got by Rachel lol it was quite the moment. ALSO loved the look on his face at tribal in the 2nd hour last night when he realized that SUE had an idol 😂lol
Aaaandy, nooooo! Whyyy, why did you tell Rachel she was going home? You never tell someone they are going home. After you went home instead I was so sad the whole rest of the episode. Now I see your perspective for why you did what you did one that round, and it makes sense. But from our perspective where we see all the players... it hurt so baaaad, you were fiiine, dude! All in all, congratulations! Epic ride, epic season.
He completely turned his game around. He should be super proud!
I was worried for Andy at first but he ended up providing both strategic and entertaining moments
Agree. Andy = a fan proxy. His journey illustrates our worst fears and highest aspirations of how we would play.
Bro exactly this season would have been so boring without him
@@nomercy4186 You don't know that. There would be someone else to replace him, is what I mean. He's entertaining though, and played a very entertaining game, so I do know where you're coming from. I'm glad he was on.
As far as season 50 goes, I would rather see Gabe, Kyle, Genevieve or Rachel but I think Rachel is going to win so she probably won’t be back
@@joelikesrealitycompshows3486 Gabe was a great Character to watch but only at the premerge
The seriousness when he said "what the hell is project Italy" 😂
Andy should be proud of the game he played! He was self interested but never cruel, created so many iconic moments, and showed true vulnerability. Rooting for an Andy return for season 50!
Andy made it to final 6 without ever having a #1. Impressive!
He had a number one in the first episode... and then everyone knew better.
Was a little iffy on Andy at the start but man he brought me around. Hell of a fun player to watch.
Andy deserved to be the main character of this season. He was fantastic to watch. He definitely needs to be back again.
Honestly if Rachel never got the idol clue in her fries, I seriously think there’s a world where we are talking about Andy, winner of survivor 47.
I 10000% Agree. Rachel would've went home.. but if Rachel wasn't there in final 6. Then maybe Genevieve wins again, and I would assume Sam would be out. Then in the final 4.. Because in the final 6, there's a possibility Sue votes for Andy instead of Same, or sam wins immunity, and maybe they keep Gen over Andy. Idk.. but yeah i agree if Rachel didn't find the idol there's a huge chance he wins
Honestly going even farther back, if nobody finds the clue at the merge reward Rachel goes home there
sol saved rachel and she didn’t return the favor 😂
Also if sol never gives her the advantage to leave tribal she wouldn’t have even been on the jury
His quotes were the names for the last 7 episodes - showing his quoteability- great performance Andy . Not the winner but the mos entertaining by far
Not
Sad to lose Andy and Genevieve in the same ep. In my opinion, they were some of the most interesting players of the new era.
Baby Andy was eliminated, but at least he orchestrated one of the greatest moves ever seen on Survivor.
I hope they bring him back for season 50.
yeah , Andy and Genvieve were my favourite ,I am big admirer of both players and how they played the game , it was superb
What? I’m glad they’re both gone. FINALLY!
Love Andy and his humility. Look forward to hearing from him in the future
I love Andy, I’m a certified Andy fan
Ummmm…… he’s sweet, but he sure is a dingbat🤷♀️🤦♀️
What a ride is right. Andy was so fun to watch. Hope he comes back for some deep dives in the future!
One of my players ever - so much love for you Andy, I identify with you personally in many ways, and it was amazing meeting you in person. You were so great out there and you clearly had a blast living your dream. So happy for you!
Cannot wait for the Andy deep dive. He improved so much and turned his fandom into a huge success. Would love to see him on 50!
Baby Andy is just so perfect for reality TV. His voting confessionals are sooooo iconic.
The heart and soul of this season! See you on survivor 50
Oh god I hope not. If he or Rob (from Rob and Amber) returns, it's definitely a season I'll be happy to miss.
@ 👍
I hope him and gen both come back
I'm not ready for Season Forty-Several to end. This cast is delightful, and Andy was one of the most fun players I've ever watched. He's a legend.
Love Andy so much. Hope he's back for Season 50!
Andy. Most epic player this season. ❤
so much love for Andy!! You made the season so fun - was rooting for you the whole way

Him and Genevieve, are perfect casting choices👌
They need to both come back for S50

Watching and rooting for Andy was such a pleasure this season. Put this man at the top of your tree because baby, he's a star!
He's so much fun to watch! Bummed he got eliminated! ❤️🇵🇭
"its a feature not a bug!" well said andy... this guy sure works on AI!
“Insert Cedric Diggory’s dad screaming “My Boyyyy” when Andy when the 1st vote was for Andy”
Andy went from "no one cheers when I open a coconut" to orchestrating one of the greatest moves of the new era. There's hope for us all.

Need to see Andy play again also get him as a guest next season!
“Project Italy” lol Rob get it right before the eventual new Evolution of Strategy
Loved Andy's entire arc this season, such a great story!
If somebody told me “if you lie to me again, me and Sue will never vote for you on the jury” I am DEFINITELY lying to you again lol

Andy for the clock tower streams!!
Wow Rob looks so energized after a good night sleep. What a difference a week makes. 😊
Andy's unique personality made this a perfect season.

I would watch Andy play 100 seasons of survivor
I love this guy. My favorite player of the new era
He's top 10 for sure, easily in top 5 for me personally tho
I hope Andy feels all the love we have sent his way this season!
Andy was by far my fav player this season. Love his authenticity and goofiness. Ntm very easy on the eyes.

Incredible game for Andy. What's up with so much attention he gave his hair throughout the game. He always look good.
Anyone else get won over by Andy at the start. That crashout was gold and a good move
i was rooting for you so hard but it was to bad to see you go you where one of the strongest players i thought you better be the pick for survivor 50 and i think you have a good shot
I don’t think John Lovett could have predicted this arc for Andy . Snuffed to soon
Yes, I agree
I really liked Andy in this season. I had a full blown 'dad watching football' moment when he got voted out lol. He made this season super entertaining.
This is definitely Andy's season - He owned this entire season. I think out of the 14 episodes, 5 episodes were named after something he said.

Extremely likable dude but his elimination was oddly poetic…slightly embarrassing even
47 is such an amazing season 💙

Thxs for the hours on hours of entertainment baby Andy. Xx
I'm so easy, they say they love RHAP, I instantly love them back. Andy was so fun to watch this season, I hope to see him on something else one day.
I like Andy a lot. Feel like if I met him irl we'd be friends. Very personable dude
"A feature, not a bug!" Love the geek humor. I want to see Andy back.
Project Italy
WTG Andy. I enjoyed watching you this season even with the rough start. You were a "driver" in the game and not merely a "passenger".
I am Andy's fan and can't wait for him in season 50
Can’t wait for next year new podcast on RHAP… every Wednesdays….
Hump Day with baby Andy
His hair is so fabulous ❤
Kirsty reference this man knows ball
Enjoyed him…He needs a deep dive with you, Rob!
The most entertaining player of the season imo
Andy for Survivor 50!
Andy is the best character this season.
Love Andy!!!
I liked him a lot. ❤❤❤

andy. YES
PLAYER OF THE SEASON
"what the hell is project Italy" got me

For me ,you are my winner Andy🎉
thank you for fixing the thumbnail!!
