The NB stands for Nikki Butler. He makes usually all sterling silver with real gemstones. Most of it's made in India. I had a cross very similar to that one and sold it on eBay for over $100. His stuff is really well sought after. The rest of that costume is all good good name stuff also, so good score! 🤩 The 14kt purple looking stone looks like Tanzanite. It is sold a lot on QVC, NB too. I'm not sure he is still on there, I haven't seen QVC in years. 🤗 If he isn't that makes his piece more sought after!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two. The older gentleman is so fun - reminds me of my grandfather. Some of the Jay King looks a little Flintstone-ish to me! Lots of beautiful pieces.
You have paid for that unit many times over!! You are going to be a very happy camper when you see what the Nolan Miller and Nicky Butler stuff is going for on ebay. It is not super expensive but most of the similar items I saw were between $60 and $160 each. That is going to add up fast! Merry Christmas to YOU!!!
This is so sad. Don’t you wish who the woman was. Everything so nicely packaged. I would love to know about who she was and if she wore any of these things. How did it get in the storage unit. Did she die.
Most looked like it hadn't been worn, which is sad. I hope it made her happy anyway. I was getting Bridgerton vibes from all the colourful costume jewelry!
6:11 Heidi Daus carnelian beaded crystal knot necklace 3 strand 16" with multi colored Swarovski crystals. 2.5" center knot pendant, green crystal push in clasp
There's hardly any real turquoise stones to be found indeed and most of the time, what is now passed for turquoise is howlite stone , a white marbled stone artificially painted to look like turquoise. Apparently howlite beads have less colour variations and are usually lighter in colour and the black marbling less dense. It's obvious difficult to notice on small pieces but apparently that's how you make the difference between the two and for some reason, I feel that the large beads bracelet is howlite. Still valuable but slightly less. I enjoyed watching you looking through all this jewellery :) thanks and thank you for your enthusiasm !
Jay King makes genuine turquoise and 925 sterling silver. I've been a rock hound since childhood and love to watch him. I'm a very small woman and his jewelry is always too big for me to wear, but love watching his show because I still love rocks.
Please look up the pearlized covered jar and Kleenex box up online for its worth. I think it is worth more than you think and it is very vintage. I saw them new when I was a kid and I am 70+ yo
She took good care of her 925 by putting the small squares of black paper to keep it from tarnishing. Most all of the things came from QVC and you can do searches to get the current value. The Mine Finds were sold on HSN. The purple stone in the ring is most likely tanzanite which is actually more expensive than amethyst sometimes. The multi strand necklace is known as liquid silver. At lot of your turquoise is dyed Hyolite stone.
When my MIL passed i had about 5 of those containers to go thru SO watching you took me down memory lane- and had me acting like a crazy person shouting at the tv when u would open the boxes.... A LOT of the pieces my MIL also had... It was a lot of work and time consuming... Watching your vid made me want to do it all over again!!!
Love the turquoise. As for that cross..lovely- more likely to be garnet and amethyt than ruby. Those honora pearls are a very good brand. What a haul and I havent eve watched all of it!!
The ring with purple blue stone is tanzinite. As I had lve a few. Very expensive as not much is being found so you have pay more for them. I bought two and my stone in first ring is smaller but cost me 300 pound uk money. So yours. Is worth a lot more !!!! They don't mine a lot any more as not much left. But you have a an expensive ring there !!!
I agree about the Tanzania. First thing I saw when he opened it up. I know about 20-12 years ago alit of home shopping and TV jewelry shows set Tanzania in silver. Now if you can find a new price it would be set in gold. The price for over a carat is threw the roof.
I love the Turquoise. My favorite stone is the Robin egg blue. That must have been her favorite also.My favorite piece I own was 2.00 from a flea market seller 20 years ago.
Hi I just came across your channel 😀.That blue stone is probably not safire but is Tanzinite and worth a pretty penny because they recently shut down the mines and wont let anymore tanzinite leave Tanzania so it's worth more now.
@9:22 that brooch is an Avon brooch from the '90s. It sold new for around $60. The heart necklace is meant to have a small piece of cotton dipped in perfume inside. @16:50 that is a liquid silver waterfall necklace, a design that was originally Native American.
Jason, this is such an awesome score!! Rubies lol! Ok. Baseline assumptions with "real" jewelry... For sterling jewelry, until proven otherwise, red stones are garnets, black is glass, blue is topaz, purple is amethyst, and clear is glass. Black can also be one of several different stone - onyx, agate etc. Clear can be cubic zirconia, rock crystal (quartz), or zircon. Green is peridot or green garnet (rare). These are the most likely suspects. In gold, I'd assume real stones, but start at less expensive. The larger the stone, the less likely it is to be a more valuable one. However - that 14 k ring? Get it looked at by a jeweler. It is most likely mystic topaz, but could be tanzinite based on the color and refraction. I think it will be worth your time! 😎😋
I looked at that ring and with purple colour might be tanzanite, iolite or even alexandrite, please check it and let us know. If it happen to be alexandrite, I am the buyer!
Very NOT cheap. Any piece retails at $100+! Many are already on 2nd and 3rd market for $100s. Be watchful oof what u stumbled; into. He Elf n hand mirror was tooled, quite rare. She must have hoarded it for some time. the little box very collectable. Avon piece same. I'm floored for you!! Nice find. Iove Pops: "what's the for, anyway??" N🇨🇦
The ring is Tanzanite The silver cross from India is garnet and the silver filagree heart is with pink tourmaline or rose quartz beads - could be pink sapphire but probably not... Nolan Miller is good costume jewelry! The round "gold" Elgin mirror is a loose powder compact, minus the powder and puff which is supposed to sit on the engraved part that flips up.
she had QVC on speed dial for sure. I seldom look at that chanel, since way back when my husband and I discovered it, had the big dish and got all sorts of fun channels, but anyway, one winter day before Christmas we spent a few hours shopping. It was fun but that was the last time. I am so glad to have found your channel, subscribed and rang the bell. I may do some shopping at Ebay, saw some rings I like.
Your Dad is right about the turquoise, there is hardly any large pieces left and I was buying turquoise necklace, earrings, and bracelet for $5.00 per set! They make it out of small ground up turquoise mixed with a polimer and shape them into pieces that look like real turquoise. Most is fake now! 😞 Sorry! At least the silver is marked and real!
look out for the gold dollars my grandma had 6 gold dollars double dip in gold and made into a necklace. she was a big buyer on QVC before she passed she had a thing for gems.
This is the best Jewelry Haul video that I have watched! The Jewelry itself was all breathtaking! I checked out your ebay store but no Jewelry I imagine it sold quickly for you! You guys did great 👍
The 14k ring looked like the gemstone was 'TANZANITE' (more valuable then amethyst) it isn't not amethyst because of the blue/purple hue. And some of the items you called Turquoise were actually Blue Apatite which in my opinion is prettier then a lot of turquoise found today. As it is found around copper & silver mines (like turquoise) along with malachite and azurite and sodalite in AZ. Great finds, congratulations, you certainly deserve some fantastic jewelry finds you work so hard.
I thought the same thing but it didn't look very blue to me, although tanzanite changes colors as you turn it under light. I was looking for flashes of red as that is also a feature of tanzanite. If it is, it's worth a few thousand bucks.
The ruby cross should be Nickki Butler! He uses real gemstones and sterling. Jay King turq is usually Sleeping Beauty Turq. Mines are closed now! Great find. Feel sorry for the lovely lady that lost these. The blue/ purple gold ring could be Tanzanite!
Hey Jason, watching this late At 32:30 you show a teal banana republic wristlet Do you still have it? I’d love it if you do. Thanks And also the pink journal paw paw is holding at 31:51
The stone in the golden ring looks like alexandrite, please, have it valued by a specialist, could be very dear. It was so lovely to watch your lovely dad helping you, I almost cried, very touching.
You have been a pretty young fellow, new baby and all these goodies. You have a lot to Thank God for. So Happy New Year all the best to your Family. 👍👍👍❤️💚💙🤗
Oh boy I found a new channel to binge. I am obsessed with jewelry. Specifically vintage costume jewelry. Im sure you throw away or donate alot of it but people like me would eat it up. I would die if I had a tote like this. You have alot of research to do. Pretty sure that's not amber. Looks like glass. Man im jealous of this tote!
8:00 I THINK AJM is A. Jackie Manygoats Native American Navajo jewelry maker she worked with Royston Turquoise a lot I can not exactly remember how she marked her pieces. I know some of her pieces are marked .952
The vintage pearl-looking Kleenex box and powder box is actually very collectible, too good for your dollar bin.
My heart breaks for the lady who owned all this.
The "ruby" cross with matching earrings is actually garnets!
The blue stones maybe sapphires.
I think the ring with the light purplish blue stone could be Tanzanite?
The NB stands for Nikki Butler. He makes usually all sterling silver with real gemstones. Most of it's made in India. I had a cross very similar to that one and sold it on eBay for over $100. His stuff is really well sought after. The rest of that costume is all good good name stuff also, so good score! 🤩 The 14kt purple looking stone looks like Tanzanite. It is sold a lot on QVC, NB too. You're right they are garnets to dark to be rubys
@@suzanfarrell2214 Aquamarine IMO
She sure had a shopping addition, QVC and HSN have a way of presenting jewelry that makes you want it.
They would have a way of presenting dog poop and sell it!!
@@dlodge4966 😂👍
Shopping addition is right. I don’t think she wore these.
My mother in law did as well
I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two. The older gentleman is so fun - reminds me of my grandfather. Some of the Jay King looks a little Flintstone-ish to me! Lots of beautiful pieces.
Glad to see Paw Paw still being with you.
16:35 liquid silver multi strand. Jay king and Nicky butler are fabulous...alot of Jay King turquoise is from kingman mines in AZ. 2 of my favorites !
You always tell PaPa he is wrong.....he is smart, he may be right everyonce in a while.
It's good to see papa back with you. Papa is so funny.
This is so sad. Don’t you wish who the woman was. Everything so nicely packaged. I would love to know about who she was and if she wore any of these things. How did it get in the storage unit. Did she die.
Most looked like it hadn't been worn, which is sad. I hope it made her happy anyway.

6:11 Heidi Daus carnelian beaded crystal knot necklace 3 strand 16" with multi colored Swarovski crystals. 2.5" center knot pendant, green crystal push in clasp
Banana republic is quite expensive. A lot of value in Costume. The turquoise jewlery must be native...so much cool stuff! Beautiful! 😍😍😍
Don't rule out costume jewelry! Some are worth more than one would expect.
Depends on where it was sold and desiner
I sure hope you do your research, a lot of that costume jewelry is worth more than the sterling and gold!!
Time 13.10, Those are garnets, not rubies.
I was saying the same thing.
There's hardly any real turquoise stones to be found indeed and most of the time, what is now passed for turquoise is howlite stone , a white marbled stone artificially painted to look like turquoise. Apparently howlite beads have less colour variations and are usually lighter in colour and the black marbling less dense. You can sometimes tell howlite by looking in the drill hole. If it’s howlite you’ll see white. Real turquoise will have color all the way through.
Jay King makes genuine turquoise and 925 sterling silver. I've been a rock hound since childhood and love to watch him. I'm a very small woman and his jewelry is always too big for me to wear, but love watching his show because I still love rocks.
And some turquoise is plastic from China.
I feel it for her family, bless her who ever she was...
Please look up the pearlized covered jar and Kleenex box up online for its worth. I think it is worth more than you think and it is very vintage. I saw them new when I was a kid and I am 70+ yo
The sapphire ring that was a yellowish cream color jewelry box it's actually sterling silver and it's a reproduction Princess Diana's engagement ring
I loved it when the older man said “what is the purpose of that”? Don’t dismiss QVC stuff. Some of it can be quite expensive.
I really think your Dad is a great Man, so humble X
Honora pearls are good quality. The leather bracelet with pearls is about £50 new.
I Love Papa, keeping it real, your a hoot papa! I like the way you share your finds and give us up and personal.
Very beautiful find. Love the Jewelry.

The filigree lockets are for aromatherapy. Sapphires can be blue, pink & green.
And yellow just like some jades are yellow instead of green.
And orange. I have a smokey quartz ring with orange sapphires as accent.
Yes, the little black squares are to help prevent tarnishing.
When my MIL passed i had about 5 of those containers to go thru SO watching you took me down memory lane- and had me acting like a crazy person shouting at the tv when u would open the boxes.... A LOT of the pieces my MIL also had...

I wish jewelry makers would stop putting purple stones in gold. They look so much better in silver. Man that stone was gorgeous
The S. Ray silver watch band is Navajo. It is worth taking the time to look it up. Good luck!
Wow awesome haul of jewellery and some stunning pieces too 👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had lot of fun seeing what would come out of the jewelry cases and also the nice way in which you both interacted
I love the Turquoise. My favorite stone is the Robin egg blue. That must have been her favorite also.My favorite piece I own was 2.00 from a flea market seller 20 years ago.
the red stones on that big indian cross are more likely garnets.
The black stones could be glass, black spinel, Hondurian opal or black onyx.
Or jet. Black stones used in vintage jewelry was jet.
My immediate thought was black spinel as it's very sparkly and onyx is not usually faceted like that. OR glass ??🤔
I would say the little ring is Tanzanite and I’ll take the black jet necklace with the cross. 😃
Hi I just came across your channel 😀.That blue stone is probably not safire but is Tanzinite and worth a pretty penny because they recently shut down the mines and wont let anymore tanzinite leave Tanzania so it's worth more now.
Omg so much turquoise 😍😍😍😍
travelon purses sell pretty well
You and pa pa make me laugh so much give him a big hug from me, love Deb,s xx

What a find!! Congratulations!!
Heidi Daus jewelry is made to look old, but it is not old. Costume jewelry, yes, but not cheap.
Very NOT cheap. Any piece retails at $100+! Many are already on 2nd and 3rd market for $100s. Be watchful oof what u stumbled; into. He Elf n hand mirror was tooled, quite rare. Fantastic tub of jewelry

Wow 🤩 what an awesome find💗💗💗
This is the best Jewelry Haul video that I have watched! The Jewelry itself was all breathtaking! I checked out your ebay store but no Jewelry I imagine it sold quickly for you! You guys did great 👍
Love all the turquoise!! I’m also curious, how many pearls does one need??

Before you say it's Rubies, it could be Garnets.. please say it could be either.. unless you are 100% correct! 😊😊
I really don't wear much jewelry. But when I do it's crosses and pieces that go with my beliefs. Alot of amazing jewelry there.
J King is NOT costume it is sold on HSN that would be real turquoise
Thank you, nice jewellery finds.
Thank you for all your videos throughout the year
Take care and have a great Christmas

Omg this video was one hell of a ride. You have some incredible things there
That was one amazing tub.
That was fun! I think a lot of the costume stuff was crystals.
How sad that people don’t pay their storage lockers and lose so much precious things.
I would totally buy that pearl Kleenex holder set from you!
Wow Jason. Did the Christmas star hang over your house? Lol. So happy for you. You work so hard. Baby is your lucky charm!🤗
Wowza! What a find! You could probably resell that for some high dollars. Boxes and in excellent condition
Hey Paw Paw. He is the cutest.
The black Nevklace looks like black Spinels which are similar to Onyx they are considered semiprecious stones.
Tanzanite is very rare if it’s deep purple get it checked by a jeweler
Millefiori Glass is what the heart bracelet is some of it is worth a lot but for the most part a few $ per heart ( 25:54 time in video)
Can't wait. So excited for you.
Oh boy I found a new channel to binge. I am obsessed with jewelry. Specifically vintage costume jewelry. Im sure you throw away or donate alot of it but people like me would eat it up. Nice, share it to us, we can't find such stuff here in our country..
8:00 I THINK AJM is A. Jackie Manygoats Native American Navajo jewelry maker she worked with Royston Turquoise a lot I can not exactly remember how she marked her pieces. I know some of her pieces are marked .952
Gemstones are COLD to the touch, glass not.
Glass is cold. Plastic is not
Honora pearls and Mikimoto pearls are the best you can get with Mikimoto bring the best.
Vintage inspired is what Heidi Daus make. The necklace is $79.99 new.
