I struggle with depression and when I need to clean my house I start by saying “HI, I’M AURIKATARIINA” and then I can finish the job. It’s silly, but it works for me haha. Much love from Brazil!

There is no better feeling than using a clean and fragrant bathroom, sleeping on clean sheets and coming home tired from work, going to grab a snack in the kitchen and looking at everything shining. Cleaning can be tiring, but it's worth it! Thanks for the cleaning tips, I would like to know more about the products you use, always. Kisses from Brasil

It doesn’t end on cleaning those houses, she literally buys necessary things for these people and she does it FOR FREE. I didn’t know that angels exist. I love how sympathetic she is in her approach to the person's home that she is tackling. She even got this guy a bed!
Sometimes a person who has a home in this state feels overwhelmed and just never gets down to organizing and cleaning. An option could be to start with just ONE room. Organize, deep clean, and enjoy the satisfaction of accomplishing just this one task. Bit by bit, one can get the job done. Just a thought.

Even though my home is still more than livable, I relate to that a lot. Plenty of boxes and bags piled up in one area of my apartment after my parents moved out of my childhood home 2 years ago (meaning that I had to take plenty of my old things that I didn't want to throw away back to my apartment) and I never had the time or energy to properly sort through it all since I work full-time. I barely even use my desk at all since everything I don't know where to put in the moment just ends up there.
The task of cleaning it all just gets so overwhelming that I end up putting it off endlessly. Luckily my parents are wonderful people and helped me clean that area for my most recent birthday.

@@freewi-fi8933 It isn't great for the cat, but it is loved, clearly fed well, probably gets all vet care and a gentle home. It is free to leave, most probably, and yet returns, quite happily.
There are much worse homes where cats live. Some of them very clean. I run a rescue. I would ask them to make some changes - volunteer to help clear up, get to know them and possibly let them have a cat.
Cats are in such need, that finding a gentle person who wanted companionship, and pays for good quality food, and has a safe, gentle place for the cat to be safe...
It is amazing what a difference moving the 'trashes' makes, to make people a little more proactive. This needs a number of big volunteer helps, but when there is a cat starving and being abused by passers by, even this is safer than where they are - and there are SO MANY cats, rescues cannot take them all in, cannot even feed them all.
Dog rescue can be truly heartbreaking, but cats are 10 times worse, in numbers and suffering. They are just better at hiding. I know. I have and do both.
If you face heartbreaking starvation on the streets, a kind soul who is falling apart themselves, but still wanting to feed and protect an animal in trouble, cannot be ignored. Nor should you so cruelly treat someone as evil or bad, because they are falling apart. Imagine telling someone who has been abused, and has fallen apart, that their kind heart is disgusting or worthless when in their darkest depths, they are still trying to help creatures in a more helpless state.
Aurikateriina is a brilliant example of non judgemental accepting and inclusion of broken people, who are often far kinder than their successful, clean neighbours.

After 6 hours she had to get home, but it was amazing what we got done. What's left now is just super easy surface cleaning, some dishes and a couple empty boxes that need a toss. I am so beyond proud of myself, and forever grateful to my best friend who helped me without judging me. I truly look forward to keeping my space clean! Will follow your tips from previous vids on how to wipe down surfaces!

It's always been very difficult and overwhelming, and I used to live in places not too far from your videos, due to my mental and physical health. But! About a year ago I discovered your videos, and started reading up on other cleaning folk and watching organization channels! You're always so so kind in your videos, and nonjudgemental, and it makes me feel inspired to try and clean and care for my space!! It's still very very hard for me, especially when I'm very bad off--but right now my room is the cleanest and most organized its ever been and I couldn't be more proud. you didn’t ask me, but i’d say a good kit is flash (dirty surfaces), dish soap, bleach, disinfectant spray, glass/mirror spray like mr muscle, mould spray (for shower), 3 sponges (one for bathroom, one for dishes, one for everything else), lots of cloths. also oven cleaner if you need it.
clean your bathroom once a week. dishsoap all over the sink and shower. scrub with a sponge. rinse. use flash on the toilet seat, lid, outer surface. bleach and scrub the bowl. wipe down mirrors and shower glass. mop the floor or use floor wipes which i find a bit easier.
for the kitchen, every week mop floors. if its tile, i use a little laundry powder and warm water. wipe down kitchen surfaces with flash if dirty , but only disinfectant for regular use. bleach the sink every once in a while. after doing dishes run your soapy sponge over the sink for a quick clean whilst you’re there. wipe down cabinets weekly with a rag. don’t forget things like cleaning door handles every once in a while.
this is just what i can think of with regular maintenance. the most important thing is to do little things regularly so you don’t let things build up because then its harder to clean. with cleaning already dirty spaces you might need extra things.

Try olive soap bar,, it is rally good for dishes and cleaning kitchen and barhroom,,you can even wash your clothes by hand,,and also wash your self and have a footbaath. But buy several soaps, 1 for kitchen, 1 for bathroom cleaning, 1 for your clothes handwashing, 1 for your body.

I don't know what makes your home not as clean as it should be but if I can give you some advice : the easiest way to keep a house clean is to do things right away.
I think it takes 21 days to form a new habit (that's only 3 weeks).
Most things only take a few seconds (putting something in the trash, wiping the counter after using it, even doing the dishing is fast if you do it as you're cooking, folding a shirt to put it away in your drawer or wardrobe). If these smalls things are put in your everyday life, you'll do them without even realizing it (you even forget that you've done them sometimes, trust me)
And keep in mind that a home is a place that lives as you live in it. It's ok to have some clutter sometimes. That's especially true if you have a family with kids ❤

Some tips for lazy people like me :)
      1. never walk alone, take stuff with you when you leave the room..
      2. put stuff away right after you used it. It wont take much time and after a couple weeks you get used to it.
      3. If you are not in the mood for cleaning do just 15 minutes.. just set a timer and clean for 15 minutes straight, no breaks, no phone, just cleaning.. you will be astonished what can be done in 15 minutes. And 15 minutes arent that much time. If you want to do more, because you want to be productive then go on.. if not, then stop and do another 15 minutes tomorrow.

This is incredible, I love all of your videos but the lengths that you went to get the bed for the homeowner. You are really changing people’s lives. Thank you for sharing these stories with us ✨

This is literally me. I've suffered with depression for the past couple years and my house has suffered because of it. You are right about putting all your energy into working and when you get home you are so exhausted you dont feel like doing anything. But when it gets so bad, you just dont know how to go back anymore so you just live with it. 😢😢
