They recently just got stocked in my local perfume boutique , and tried them all. Some gems in the line , interested to see and hear your thoughts on them 🍀
This house sounds interesting, especially the Wish Come True. Yellow and white florals with incense and Oud? Sign me up. I think you’d like Soleil de Jeddah more IF YOU PUT IT ON SKIN!!!! 🤪 thanks for the shoutout!!! 🙏 -Chris
Along with Boadicea The Victorious's 'Zayed 2018', Stephane Hubert Lucas's 'Oumma' is one of the most repellent fragrances I've EVER tried. I couldn't get it off quick enough. The term 'unisex' casts such a wide rope these days and it can really frustrate and mislead me as a woman-- thank god I'm not prone to blind buying, ha! I think the Fragrantica reviewer's charts are really helpful. People can vote with their nose and just honestly say if a new 'unisex' offering leans more 'masculine' or more 'feminine' in their subjective estimation. I appreciate that very much. Here's my public service announcement to return the favour to all who have ever helped me in my decision making or made me laugh: The PERFECT word to use when describing both of the aforementioned fragrances to the uninitiated is 'phenolic'. It's that olfactory quality reminiscent of the acrid stench of BBQ charcoal bags sold at the supermarket in summertime mixed with bitumen being laid by roadworkers in high summer and then to top it off, the smell of your family garage or father's workshop...just oily canisters, rubber and fuel. And the woody notes are not warm and sweet. Bring to mind a barely smouldering log from a recent campfire in your backyard. Each layer is an fresh, relentless assault with nothing to offer you respite from the battering by phenolic, hard notes. You run frantically to all corners of this fragrance when inhaling over the period of an hour, desperately trying to discern something charming and enticing, something that will compensate for the repulsive melange of odours offered so bountifully yet received with complete mortification. Unspeakably horrible to smell on a woman-- and this is coming from a human who wears masculine and unisex scents almost exclusively. I wonder if any women love those two fragrances?! Who are they?! I'd love to hear from them, ahaha! :D Look, I'd love to give Stephane Humbert Lubas another try so this video was very helpful and encouraging-- thank you!! :)
Panther Iris caught my attention a while ago. AND the bottle designs for this house are just 🤯. I really would like to try the whole line. Love your description of the paper/papyrus thing.
I tried four fragrances from this house and after that I bought Soleil de Jeddah as it was love from the first sniff. When I was listening to you, it was as if you were talking about some other fragrance, it smells so different to my nose! No pineapple at all ))
You should try mortal skin....i have so many really awesome perfumes but that one is so unique and smells so fantastic, i can't stop wearing it. My favorite perfume ever...mortal skin ❤
I have only tried Panthea from this house and you described it perfectly. It is really fresh and clean with great staying power but it has something “dirty” too. I think it is the jasmine that is indolic a bit in this composition. Great video as always!
Awesome overview Cherie!! Haha and you know I just blind bought Soleil De Jeddah! I should have checked here first 😅 I’m living on the wild side!! Haha but to be honest I actually love how it sounds! 🤪❤️
I’ve heard many good things about Mortal Skin! Sadly was not one of the ones I got a sample of so that will be in the next round. Thanks for watching! :)
So I was like in a store one day, and like, was quickly sniffing the whole SHL range, and like, I picked out one in particular that I really liked, it was like called O Hira, and then like, I wanted to purchase it, and so I like asked the SA how much it is, and they're like, £400, (which is like 750 Aus$), and I'm like, hmm, like, I don't like it that much!
Hi! Hmmm if I had to choose between masculine or feminine I would say it leans feminine in the opening but I actually think this is squarely unisex territory. Once the subtle sweetness in the opening dies away it’s anyone’s perfume!
This was great, Cherie! I’ve been curious about this house.
If you try them make sure you spray on skin to experience the true beauty. -Chris
Oh lovely! I have une nuit à doha which I love. Looking forward to your thoughts. Xxx
I will have to try and get my hands on a sample of that! Thanks Rachel :)

Lol putting it on skin did not help me sadly! Haha but thanks for the reminder! I Forgot to link your channel in the description!

haha thank you! I hope you get to try one that is at least pleasant for you so as to temper the trauma of your first experience!
The spider on the wall at 08:18-19 OH MYYYYY😳😳😳😳😬
Oh wow I had never noticed that even in editing! Haha - welcome to Queensland and the subtropics!! 🌴🍍🐛🐜🦟🪲🪳🕷️
In hindsight I have taken a proper look at this footage in my editing software and I think it was a moth, not a spider. Phew! LOL

PI is really lovely.

I’m sure it’s just me, this is a very highly regarded fragrance but not one that my nose could reconcile 🤷♀️🙂

Than you! I will try to chase down a sample!

I think you will like it! It was an incredible sale, you couldn’t pass it up for the price
I have been enjoying these scents. Mortal skin is amazing! To me it is full bottle worthy.

Loved the review because I know nothing about this house.
Thanks Jim!
Hi 👋 question panthea iris is total unisex fragrance or more fem?
Hi! Hmmm if I had to choose between masculine or feminine I would say it leans feminine in the opening but I actually think this is squarely unisex territory. Once the subtle sweetness in the opening dies away it’s anyone’s perfume!
Красивая очень!!!
